@@wollertz I've just been workong on my portfolio all weekend and needed some rest - that's when i found your new video. That's motivating me to keep going and stay consistent :)
Iam beginner photography and thank you so much for pervious advices in pervious videos shall I ask you if you do you prefer shutterstock or istock or other platform, please?
I did the thank you post it notes idea recently, but I added different languages. i.e. Gracias, merci, danka and different colors. Simple, but it sells. I see Bambi is hard at work as usual. 😊
Been watching your videos since I started stock photography some months ago, even watched the videos you made two years ago. So I got two questions, first i got ideas and concepts from your photos and took some photos, some like yours so my question is are they going to sell? Since you have sold a lot, you know, you being better than me obviously lol Secondly, don't have full access to a camera, I just use a friend's when im chanced so I use my phone mostly ( iPhone 7 plus) I have some approved pictures on Shutterstock that I took with my phone, so my question is can my phone take these kind of simple photos like this 'Thank you' photos too? I'm a very big fan of yours, wish I could show you some of my pictures, even the ones I took with my phone (nice and unique concepts) so you can maybe tell me some things 😢🥺
Thanks for the question! Its difficult to say what will sell and what wont, a lot of it depends on the algorithm, so keep making more, start simple and add more as you grow. If using a phone focus on editorial content and add as much light possible to the "studio shots" phones are terrible in low light and dynamic range, so focus where its strengths are. You will need a portafolio of at least 10000 good photos to make an income, so don't quit before time. You can send photos to the email at the bottom of the video descriptions and I can include them in a Review Video 🙌🏼
hello, if I'm not being indiscreet, please can you tell me approximately how much money you make per month from stock photos and video...? just an average term. Thank you.
It at all, I’ve mentioned it in other videos, this is a side thing for me specially after TH-cam, I dedicate about 10 hours a week now and make around $10 thousand a year, 10-15 depending on how active I am
Hi :) I wondering something. I don't know how much are you in stock footage. If you are selling videos, did you maybe notice or have some recomendations, what is the best duration time for stock videos? I have 30 seconds long videos, but I don't know if it would be better to make little clips out of them or to put them 30 seconds long. Also, I would love to hear from you if you maybe have some recomendations about some other photographers from which I can learn from on youtube or online, which photographers do you like or find inspiring? I would like to learn more about photography, style, composition, editing... so I'm looking for online resources. Maybe there are some online collage lectures, photography congres lectures, ted talks which you would recomend :D
Hi thanks, the video length depends on the subject, if it is something that can be looped after 6 seconds, then theres no need to keep going, if 30 seconds is needed to tell the story then thats what it takes. I personally clip my stock footage around 10 to 15 seconds, but again it depends on the subject. as far as photographers I've learned a lot from Nigel Danson, Thomas Heathon, Jared Polin, Tony and Chelsea Northrup, Peter Mckinnon, I find the best way to learn is to practice. Best of luck!
I am overflowing with ideas once again because of you. Thank you for what you do.
Awesome! thanks so much for the comment 🙌🏼
So simple and easy to overlook. Thanks for sharing this idea and really putting together a system. Looking forward to doing my own set soon.
Glad it was helpful!
For stock, simple is best, you want a clear concept, something where the idea is obvious and to the point! You know, simple 😅
I was really happy to see you on the top page of contributors. Well deserved!
Thanks so much!
