Now that's how you stock a nano tank, no goldfish or anything huge. Very nice.

Superglue + cotton to attach rock to the wood to prevent it from floating. A little sand or saw dust or crushed aquasoil around the cotton before the superglue dries will help mask the glue spot.

I mount my hardscape on a sheet of 3mm thick acrylic, to create an insert I can silicone to the bottom of the tank.
This makes a solid scape which won't move if bumped while cleaning the tank.
This eliminates the need for lead weights.
Superglue gel is what I use to adhere hardscape and rhizome plants.
Use thicker sheet for larger scapes. I've found the 3mm works for small stuff.

Crazy glue a rock to the driftwood :) it looks better then the lead weights and will work perfectly.

You should add a crocodile tooth pick fish if your putting in the work and attention! Might have to add more plants tho

I prefer to just weigh the driftwood down by positioning large stones around it. Thanks for the info in this video!

I got one of these when they showed up at the store once. He didn't make it. Gotta be careful with some of the rarer wild caught fish for sure. Wait on em before you buy.

I would love to try this setup, but is it not very overstocked?

I just super glue the wood to rocks on the bottom and then just push the rocks down into the substrate a little

I find wood I know I will scape around, just have the wood go in to the substrate and boom no need for allat waiting. Let the wet substrate keep it down

Just wait for the wood to saturate, then remove the weights.

    I’m sorry .. did he say LEAD ??? Isn’t that toxic ???

Usually lead weights are covered with rubber or something to keep the lead from poisoning anything, but yes lead is incredibly toxic.

Would that be an overstocked tank? Do you have to water change every day? I've been trying to debate how many endlers to put in a 5 gallon. Seems like 3 males is the limit. But if I could put this much along with cherry shrimp, it'll be great.

No fish for such small tank. Few shrimps. And a snail. Thats all.

      Mellow tank. We like that.

Yeah I agree. That tank is way too small for fish. Unless you were gonna have like 1 beta in there and that's it.

idk maybe i'm not knowledgeable enough, but I feel like that tank is way too small to be keeping fish in. Your fish barely have any room to swim around in. what are your schooling fish supposed to do? swim around in circles forever? I could understand putting some shrimp and a few snails in a tank like this, but I definitely would not be putting schooling fish in that tank. I know for a a fact that if i was a schooling fish living in that tank, I'd feel really claustrophobic.
