This is a banger!! The heavy cadence of the words if not done right could have dragged the song down, but what's new, Home Free crushed yet another one. And ADAM! He hit the rev limiter on this one. That harmonica! No one can touch his "no-monica". Man, these guys are like musical machines; they're animals and Adam Rupp is a beat box beast. Love this song!
I am a city boy from Philly, but this song is iconic. You really can't sit still. My mom is Appalachian, so she did play sound of country and gospel. Dad like folk. That probably explains why I love music with actual acoustic instruments, but Homefree is an exception. (All music is good though. My dad actually loves African gospel groups. Music in all forms is good to me, to different extents.)
I love how this is a song that they've done in a style that's kind of a mix between Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks and Hillbilly Bone. And Tim's bass came back too. I hope they will continue doing more energetic and fast-paced songs. I thought they were done with that but this gave me new hope. This is the first song that I could genuinely vibe with in a while.
