This was filmed in the Swiss Alps in Austria which you'd already know, but the chapple is the Von Trapp Chapple. The land was donated to the People of Austria, by the Von Trapp family, just before the German occupation of WW2. It is only a very short distance from where Maria (Julie Andrews) singing the Sound Of Music was filmed. The Chapple was actually built after the war in around 1947.
Filmed in the Austrian Alps. So beautiful - best version of this song I’ve ever heard. Love your reaction. It is a testament to God’s greatness. His beauty and majesty shine!
@@lukastrixl3550 OOPS. My mistake. I knew they were in Austria, and those distinctive pale mountains looked like the Dolomites. I assumed they were in the southern tip of Austria with a view on northern Italy. Thanks for correcting.
Man I'm glad I subscribed to your channel. You feel the music in your heart like I do. I'm a very manly man but music, especially gospel music touches my soul. You are becoming one of my favorite reactors
My Dad is the same way. He's a tough SOB right up until he hears gorgeous harmonies. That will make him cry like a baby. Music is love and medicine to me. And Home Free makes great Drs that make house calls! ❤
Beautiful harmonies and beautiful scenery from Austria! This will never grow old, and I will wish this for my funeral... I originate from the small town in Sweden where the song was originally written by Carl Boberg, and listening to this while seeing the view that inspired Boberg is really, really special! Love that you are as moved in this review as the first time!
Going through your HF reactions again and want to thank you for at least noticing Adam sang on this. Most reactors don't seem to remember he's even there unless he's beat boxing and he has such a naturally beautiful tenor.
I love the little church there. So incredible. That's how I felt when I got to live and work at the Grand Canyon, Big Bend in TX, Mammoth Cave in KY and Mt McKinley Princess Lodge in Alaska. I lived and worked onsite. So appreciative
Totally LOVE our review of this song. Knowing you have faith and how much you see of God's beauty in this video and fantastic and beautiful for me. Another one I enjoy I think you'll like is Home Free's cover of Spaceship!
Dennis, Great review of this video. It still gets to me no matter how many times I watch or hear it. I've always considered this song as 1 of the 2 greatest songs ever written (the other being "Amazing Grace"). And the guys do FANTASTIC jobs on both of them!! This was the 2nd video I ever saw of theirs. The lady I worked with at Waffle House knew that I was an Oaks fan from back in the early 70s and got me to watch "Elvira". I was intrigued with it but I was still die-hard Pentatonix. Then I saw Home Free had done this song. I watched this video for the 1st time and instantly became a Home Fry 4 Life!! Now on to watch your reaction to the From the Vault. Talk to you later. :)
This was either the 2nd or 3rd of their videos that I had seen also, and like you, knew almost nothing about them. This was the video that made me think I needed to check out more of their music. It was early Nov 2016.
I’ve always loved this song, and Home Free makes it even more special to me! The location was perfect for the song!! It’s one of my top 5 covers of theirs! “My Church” is another, and “Helplessly Hoping is another. I may have to stretch it to top 10! lol
Love the harmony at the end. It looks like the Montana mountains. Do you have a sunburn? You look kinda red. Have you done Home Free's "Children, go where I send thee", With a legendary artist?
This was the first video that I shot yesterday and I wasn't feeling very well. Usually when I don't feel well my blood pressure shoots up a little bit and I look a little red. But I think in the vault video and American pie it's probably not as bad
This song means so much to me as it was the song at my granny's funeral a few years ago. One of my favourite covers from Home Free and I listen to it so much. Great video 😅
I've never really been a big of this song always loved the message of it! This is the only version that I like! I would love to hear them or even just austin do a southern gospel album!
You guys are so consistent with these reactions, I'm not sure if you have heard Come Along by Pentatonix, if you have, great! If not you would enjoy it! Also Pentatonix is releasing their album "The Lucky Ones" on Feburary 12th!

Youre almost to 67,000 subs. Way to go Dennis.

close, but I think it is the Dolomite range in Austria
@@michaelshafer5192 nope, they filmed this in Kematen in Tyrol

Anyone can sing this song, but you can tell when they BELIEVE this song!
This is the best cover of this song I’ve ever heard. These guys are unbelievable!
Unfortunately, we don't have Walmarts in Australia. Haha

Thank you. That means a lot 🙏🏻

Amazing right! 😇🙏, you really feel the music like me,, 🙂
They were in Austria, in the Alps. More Beautiful than words can describe.
If you can listen to this and not tear up, something in you is broken.

The hymn has always given me chills but this version is even better if that's even possible. My favorite version by far...
All I can think to say is AMEN.
Absolutely beautiful location and singing.
Proves that "reviews" can be just as powerful as first time "reactions". Thanks for sharing this wonderful hymn (plus "It is well") and video.
This song gives me goose bumps i love it
Walmart has taken away 90% of the CDs. At least any of them I have been to in the last 2 yrs.
I have been ordering them from the Home Free website.
adams voice here is angelic
please say you've done amazing grace.....Im looking through your HF playlist.
Dennis God bless you brother, I could feel how this got to you ! It gets to me too brother....May God truly bless you dude !
beautiful song, beautifully sung! Roll Tide, saw the Alabama shirt!

This video was shot in Bavaria, land of Hercule Poirot!
Calming song but real hard to listen to as my dad passed this morning. Actually needed to hear this.
So sorry for your loss🌷
Sending prayers to you and your family! I pray that y’all see the Lord’s grace through this time.
My most sincere condolences! Sending you prayers for comfort, strength, and peace during this time of sorrow. 🙏❤
Thanks for letting Home Free take me to church.
Video shot in the Austrian Alps.
God's power and beauty... love it
Great reaction - this is a beautiful rendition of this classic hymn!
thank you for the reaction -- i needed to hear this today. smiles and love to you
That bass drop. Wow

This video, made me a fan!
I have the same reaction Dennis. I cry and want to worship my Lord. Austin makes hitting a high note look like a piece of cake.
I really hope Tim let's HIS hair grow out and use a little color. They are in tha Austrian Alps.
Those poor dislikers must have some serious ear infections. Get well soon . . .
I live in Northwest Ohio, in a town so isolated that the only national chains within 15 miles are McDonalds', Subway, and Marco's Pizza.
I love this song. It got me through many bad times. Thanks for sharing your reaction 😊

it's like a painting Dennis.

Ok that's good.
If you like different stuff even on your own time you should check out Claire Crosby from when she was three till now she is eight .
This song means so much to me as it was the song at my granny's funeral a few years ago. One of my favourite covers from Home Free and I listen to it so much. Great video 😅
Angelina Jordan & The Church in How Great Thou
Don’t miss
Beautiful
This is the best Home Free song.
This song always gets me and sure did tonight to great reaction 🤠
The last cord sounds like an organ playing to me.
That last chord is a dual baseline with Tim and Chance. Probably the absolute best dual baseline I've ever heard in my 45 yrs alive.
This song always makes me cry, doesn’t matter who sings it
You should watch man of constant sorrow by home free or mayday by home free
This is another Darren Rust arrangement
Please react to the LIVE version of PTX featuring Jennifer Hudson singing "How Great Thou Art"
The From The Vault for this pretty good !! I enjoyed it 🙃‼️
I've never really been a big of this song always loved the message of it! This is the only version that I like! I would love to hear them or even just austin do a southern gospel album!
You've also got to check out BYU Vocial Point's version.
Home Free makes just about every song amazing. It's one that's dear to my heart.
Love this. Check out Anthem Lights version of How Great Thou Art also
