So I raided the music section at a local toy store, and I left with a one dollar tambourine, a jew's harp, and a diatonic melodica. The only practical application I could think of for these three instruments was Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie music, so I decided to record this tune, which had been stuck in my head for a few days. - เพลง
Brings me back to the day I was still selling jet ski's!
@Captain Blubber They’re back... are you coming too?
I'm still waiting for the invitation of Sakurai. I've written, but no response yet.
@@captainblubber hey cap, u need to spend more to get back
“Waveracers” actually. ;p
@@Schwarzorn Aye, I might have drunken too much of that Sea of Thieves grog.
Somehow it's really sad to me that these videos are ten years old. I think because for a second I felt like I could reconnect with my childhood and then I found out this video was a decade ago and now I'm instantly back to being a world away from my childhood again
Worst part is remembering this game came out over 20 years ago 😓
damn BK and BT have some of the most memorable music in gaming
Pany Grant wrote the soundtrack to my childhood
And now we get to hear some of these soundtracks remixed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
@Sim I feel like we are going to get more. It would seem strange for Smash to ask for Grant Kirkhope to compose music for Smash if he is only doing one soundtrack.
@Sim I can see it happening to Dragon Quest because how Square Enix is real strict on what content they want to share. However, I feel we will get more for Banjo because even XBox's CEO stated Banjo was an easy deal to bring in Smash. Plus they know how big Banjo was on Nintendo 64.
@@conkerlive101 how long did he work for rare?
2:26 is where my childhood will always be. I could sit on that beach with those turtles for days.
If only he included the undersea world transition, that would make it even more epic!
EVEN RIGHT DOWN TO THAT BOING SOUND HOLY SHIT
These covers are sincerely fantastic. I have great respect for you. This sounds as if it was the actual game. The level of detail you take and the diversity of instruments is truly amazing. The nostalgia brings a tear to my eye that not just any cover would bring to my eye, but every single one of yours does. Thank you.
This song is nightmare fuel for one of the hardest levels to grace video game history.
WHY ARE WATER STAGES ALWAYS SO HARD?!?
lol you can hardly call jolly rogers lagoon a water stage. a water stage usually means the level is based underwater the majority of the time
Drew Waggoner
Yeah. I was thinking about Rusty Bucket Bay at the time I wrote this. Whoops! But yeah... That level. *pulls out hair*
Whenever I played through Rusty Bucket Bay, I usually tackled the infamous Engine Room section first to get the notes etc. I was less likely to screw up that way.
I always loved how Banjo Tooie had stages that were split into sections, this one was partially above and partially below water.
Drew Waggoner the majority of it was underwater. The introduction to it was not but the meat and potatoes were.
@blahuga Hi,
On the box it's labeled as a "piano horn," but it's basically just a melodica. I just searched Amazon right now, and they're selling them for about seven bucks.
I have that exact one
Brilliant and purely amazing!
Grant Kirkhope saw this video and his response was: "Absolutely Fantastic!"
That was great!
I'll take two ginger beers please.
Can I tempt you with our special, the Seaman's Surprise?
When you record the music better than it is in the game, you know you’ve done something special
Thanks! It's called a "Piano Horn," and it's made by Schylling.
When banjo races Mary through the mine is also a good track
Fun Fact: Jolly Roger Lagoon was originally to be a level in Project Dream
Project Dream was what Banjo-Kazooie originally to be.
Sounds interesting :)
And Black Eye the pirate was supposed to be the antigonist of Project Dream, but he made instead some cameo in BK and BT.
Midoseito Akage and Captain blackeye I Believe was in this level
@@nerdsquid9951 he is
This video is 11 years old? ...i was 17 back then.
Where did the time go?
Can we all just go back?
I absolutely love that I stumbled upon this. Bravo.
This is so enchanting! Captures the lovely town feel of Jolly Roger's Lagoon really well
hard nostalgia dude
this is really beautiful. nice job
ahh the sweet remedies of this music in my ears X) Im so happy I dint sell my 64+my banjo-kazooie,tooie games
dude your music is an inspiration, i never usually leave comments but your music, creativity and dedication is so impressive. you master every instrument you touch, as someone who spent 10 years of their life playing music and knowing how hard it is to perfect even one instrument i know full well the days and days of practice that went into all of this. please keep at it you are truly amazing =D
Again and again and again. I'm addicted on this...
YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, LISA!
Great tunes, man. I'd like to hear some more Banjo Kazooie covers. The Jew's Harp really ties this piece together for me
You need to do EVERY Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie music! It's my childhood and when I found your videos I fell in love with them! Please keep making videos, not just for me but for everyone! You always do such a great job and it's insanely impressive how accurate it is! Keep it up!
Man! I love every single one of your uploads but the Banjo music is always my favorite!
wow! that was just awsome! i love banjo kazooie and you just made one of the best levels, even better...great job!
OMG what a great job, i´m amazed!
Unbelievable music! Great work
men, amazing job.. i really love your covers!
Absolutely perfect, bravo.
Congratulations!!! you really have talent, i love your version
good job! thx for bringing back old memory
i love this music, it forever haunts my mind and i adore it
This is so cool! Keep going on doing the good jobs! I'd like to see more Banjo Kazooie instrumentations of you!
Good luck!
Ah brings back memories :) you are amazing!
Gabriel, you are so cool. I'm sure Hannah and Sammy will love this one. I never knew you could play all those instruments. Even an accordian? What a nice surprise!
You're music always makes me smile. Thank you!
Utterly fantastic work man! Banjo Kazooie is one of my faves and being the video game/music nerd that I am, I have come across many renditions of this game's music. Your performance ranks way up there. Your sound is so natural, so smooth, and charming . On top of that, pro video editing. Look forward to your future works.
dammit i thought grant kirkhope was gonna show up on this video because of the title but great job.
?? Haha what an odd assumption.
please keep up the good work! very inspiring!
Amazing video! It's so nice to listen to your music.
Very nice played indeed! I have always loved this song from the game.
Keep making these!
🔊 beautiful on an accordion!
Awesome job! This was always my favorite banjo tooie track, you deserve alot more views!
Only 4000 views? That is totally undeserved, your videos show some talent I haven't seen around on TH-cam a lot. I'm going to show your profile to everybody I know and make them watch it.
Someone get this man an award.
Scratch that, two awards.
@gamecubedude03 Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you like this video! To answer your question, the horn is in they key of C major (no accidentals) and it has 13 keys. It starts on G and goes up one octave plus a major 6th to E. So I think the range on a keyboard is G4 to E6. Hope that helps!
This is genuinely so great. This made me so happy!🤎🤎🤎
MY MAN COMIN IN WITH THE DEEP TRACKS
I want to hear more Banjo Kazooie music from you, this is awesome!
This is AWESOME. Wow, well done.
This is beautiful! Could you please do some more Banjo Tooie covers PPF. I'd LOVE to hear more of it :D
Love the kazooie in the background!
You know PPF, I don't know where you got idea of doing these music covers, but you're so good and so creative.
Amazing!!! First Banjo Cover I've seen =D
Holy shit dude, I freaking love this. Excellent job my friend.
KUDOS ON THE 'THE ROOM' DVD LOL!
great as always!
that is awesome, well done
yeah, well now it's stuck in MY head. thanks dude...
xD you're awesome.
Man ! you're my hero ! You really need some more views, definitely !!!
That is a really good lookin accordion for to have just been sittin around in your garage.
Indeed! It looks pretty good, but it's actually a pain in the butt to play because it's in such bad shape. Some of the keys stick when you press them down, and it's really leaky, so it takes a lot of effort to get the notes to sound. It's a fun instrument to play though, so I'm hoping to buy a "real" accordion sometime soon so I can use it in more videos in the future.
@@PoopPoopFart Why do you play it left handed? :)
wow awesome cover!! favourited right away =D
Very well done!
Love the Kazooie in the background... I see what you did there
Dude ur freakin awesome u can play all those instruments with ease, really awesome man
Why does this have only 10,000 views? You are musically amazing!
Another high-class production Poop!! you're a musical genius! thumbs up from Holland, greetings Bram

Whoa, amazing!
I think it sounds even better than the original - this goes straight into my favorites!

You are so good and i think there's a lot of humor in your music.. i like this tune a lot and it makes me laugh... because you look so serious but the music is so humorous.. thx a lot for sharing.. ;-)
ive watched this many time but just realized what the name of your channel ws haha awesome!
Hi-ho banjo, Away! Yarghhh! It's me, Jolly! I came to see your performance.

Captivated by your playing and videos...must look away!
I just can't get over that DVD of The Room in the background.
WOW Great work!!!

These feelings ! You are the reason why the internet isn't so bad after all !
You're seriously one of my favorite musicians. Someone who can play music from games and from... well, not games is my kinda guy. :D
This needs more views... like seriously... Man u are awesome... More BT and BK Songs!!!
This is so cool. Makes me want to get up and dance.
Mein Gott! This is wunderschön! Wunderbar! WUNDERBAR!!!!
Haha, the toy instruments make the music silly and light-hearted.
I like.
Love the banjo you use in these songs, I play banjo myself also.
LMAO at The Room on the wall:
Banjo: Oh hai Jolly! Can I have a dozen bottles of ginger beer, please?
Jolly: Oh hi Banjo, I didn't know it was you. Here you go. *passes him the beer*
Banjo: That's meeeee. How much is it?
Jolly: That'll be 2 doubloo-
Banjo: Here you go, keep the change.
Jolly: You're my favorite customer.
Banjo: Thanks a lot, bye.
Jolly: Byebye!

"Hai, froggy"
what
Is that a reference to The Room???
@@starleo64 yes
i love this your so awsom
Woot another Banjo--Kazooie song you sir are my (internet) hero
I think this was the best soundtrack of bothe banjo games :)
@Brinstar90 Yeah, I sewed the Kazooie out of pieces of felt and stuffed it with cotton. The orange thingy is basically just a diatonic melodica that I found at a local toy store; the package that it came in says "Piano Horn" on it. Thanks for subscribing!
end of 2022 and still love it!
You are among the greatest men alive. Be proud.
You RULE!!!
マジで良い曲感動;;
Good song impressed.
