Stevie was big and i think its good he influenced Skibba, cos I only just got into Jungle just after Hyper died and Skibba was always there singing Hyper's lyrics and chants to keep the candle burnin. Gotta big up Skibba for that. And Skibba was the inspiration for me to get into the music too as a youngsta... although if I was older Im sure Hyper D would have been the original inspiration! He is too heavy!

Stevie Hyper D would of held his own against of those guys you mentioned and If he hadnt of died so young I know full well mr Hyper d would of adapted and evolved with the changing styles of drum and bass throughout the rest of the 90s and all the way into the 2000s and beyond. The man was a true tallented profesional mc that could and already did mc to any style of dnb, jungle, garage, even happy hardcore ffs (dj seduction @ vibealite slipmatt birthday event in 1995) He was one of the best, his energy on stage was truly amazing!!
