When you're at a junction, it's your responsibility to stop and look both ways before merging onto the main road.

@@RetreatHell518 yeah, the lambo was speeding, but not at fault. You never merge onto the main road without looking both ways, either on foot, or in a vehicle. The vehicles, even going by the speed limit, can hit you with enough impact to kill you. Eg. loaded truck.

Look how congested that area is, field of view will be limited by the cars parked on both sides of the road no matter how good a driver you are. Thats precisely the reason why most cities have a 25mph or less citywide speed limit. The mazda pulled out as safely as possible expecting nobody would be flying by at 3x the speed limit and if anyone was coming at a reasonable speed they could simply slow down. 100% the lambo drivers fault and I love how your entire premise is based on "the guy didn't look both ways" when the video starts with the guy mid turn.

I'm not a taxi driver but I commute in my car, or on my bike, daily. And the single most important thing that I can tell you after years of being on the road is that my safety is my own responsibility and no one else's. No amount of road traffic rules will give me my life back if I'm not careful enough, even if I'm in the right in the event of a mishap.
Now firstly, the video does start with the guy mid turn, but it also doesn't prove if the guy waited before the turn. The lambo's noise can be heard from the beginning as well so it wasn't that far off. The guy filming this video had enough time to pull out his phone and start recording the flyby because he heard the car coming as well. So, I don't know what gets taught to professional drivers, but I'm not merging if I hear loud vehicle noises on a road that's not a 100% visible to me.
Secondly, if you divide this into cause and effect scenarios, you'll realize that the mazda driver is wrong on multiple accounts.
Had there been no mazda, there would have been no crash regardless of the speed of lambo.
Had the mazda guy waited and not merged, there would have been no crash.
Had there been a regular car going speed limit, the mazda driver still would have crashed.
Had there been a large loaded vehicle, the mazda driver would have still crashed.
Had there been a two wheeler, which requires more stopping distance than cars, even if it's under speed limit, the mazda driver would have still cut him off and caused a crash.
So maybe you should broaden the premise of your conclusions too.
If that Lambo would have gone faster, this accident would have been prevented 😎🤪🤣

@@halnineooo136 no you can't. recording something with 1080p to 240p are vastly different for example. rendering frame rates on different computers will also change the speed. you cannot properly measure frames per second and convert it to mph or kph. too many possibilities for errors to happen.
which is also the reason why radars from police cruiser can be argued in court. however, a laser reading is always accurate since the officer is pointing the laser directly at the vehicle, radars do not

The distances shown on the record can be measured and the frame rate of the recording device can be accurately known. The imprecision is negligible since we're not arguing over a mile per hour over speed. There is no way the lambo driver can argue he was below speed limit.
Radar or laser are technical devices that can establish a proof. Any means of establishing a proof can be accepted in court since it is not illegal.
If you can show that a car drove such distance in such amount of time you have established a speed proof.
@@halnineooo136 yes it sounds like it can be used in court, but unfortunately it cannot. it must be proven with 100% accuracy and data. if there is no mph output that everyone reads then it is only based on perception, which can result in an unfair trial. logically your method makes sense and its common sense to know the lambo is speeding. i agree with you, but the court system is far beyond that. in U.S for example you can even plead "no contest" if you violated a traffic law. making you not guilty, but not innocent. you just pay a fine and it doesn't go onto your record. stuff like this is why the court is complex and just stupid.

If you look closely at 0:53 the car in the middle lane looks to be a Maserati or Ferrari or something not sure exactly, I think that the drivers of that car were driving or racing the Lamborghini and may have known the driver and passenger and thats why the guy in the red hoodie checked on them so quick

It's painful to watch for car lovers, but by far the most important thing is that nobody was injured in this. The Aventador should have been going slower, the Mazda shouldn't have pulled out when it wasn't safe, at least it didn't end worse.

We're talking about a guy who in 3 seconds is going 60+ Mph through a crowed city with narrow roads and lots of parked cars, people, and other things obstructing the Mazda view and yet they're both to blame? How so? I'm just confused is all I don't blame the Lamborghini driver cause he's rich (or else I wouldn't watch Schmees videos every day lol) I blame him cause he was driving like an ass in a crowded city. If a kid tried to cross that street in between 2 cars like they do here in DC it would take their life. Not to mention he's also an ass cause from the looks of it the driver was only concerned about his car and didn't even really look at the guy he just hit, fuck your car you check and make sure you didn't just kill someone.

My observations:
1) Mazda driver didn't give way as he should
2) Lambo was way beyond speed limit - I tried to use Doppler's shift to calculate the speed and I'm getting values way beyond 60mph. It's just an estimate as there are too many factors involved so it's gonna to be quite off but she definitely wasn't under 20mph.
3) she had a lot of space to avoid the crash, like at least half a meter.
Both drivers bad.

@@Ambigious Before the contact between the cars was there he was perfectly on the ground. The reason he went off the ground is because the other car that came in lane had his wheel turned so that the lambo literally rode the wheel of the car. That is why he was off the ground
