    Thank you for your story. My five year o!d grandson is autistic and non verbal. When I babysit him I seem to focus on his limitations. He is spending the weekend with me today. We sent to Lowes to look for a house plant. When we walked into the store, his eyes lit up with excitement and had a big smile on his face. He found joy in doing a simple thing as to walk into a store that was new to him. Yes, we need to look at the simple things in life and give thanks. Benny may not talk, but he is teaching me things.

      @RD9_Designs 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I hope that now, you focus more on what he CAN do, and what brings him joy! For instance, using a keyboard or a smartphone to communicate, or maybe he likes to do art or perhaps he has a gift for math or loves animals... many autistic people have a hidden gift, if only they're exposed to enough things to discover it. I hope he has a dog or cat at home, as often this bond is the key to their further development. I'm probably telling you things that you already know... but on the off chance...

And letting go of whatever anger we had or I had I should say. Coincidence I don't know. But this near-death experience. Gave me pause to think. And I really needed that tonight. I feel that a lot of the ones i have read lately, that some of the people have been boistering their experiences... not needing to do so but doing it because they want to look smart.

    • @jenniferandrews8449
      @jenniferandrews8449 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @HeavenAwaits and that's really too bad because it makes it harder for some people to discern the ones "created" for likes and the authentic experiences.
      I'm all for people wanting to write their NDEs in a grammatically correct manner or to describe something that must be nearly impossible to describe with our limited vocabulary, but I've heard some that are totally over the top, in how they're described! They totally sound like the most dramatic and unbelievable stories, as if someone is trying to get an A++ on a college paper lol 😆
      There's a HUGE difference between a well written and descriptive NDE and some unbelievable "work of art"!
      I'm pretty sure most of us can differentiate between the two, but IMO the simpler ones are more believable and relatable!
      Just throwing in my two cents! 😊

    So many times the answer to the meaning of life is "to Love" or "Love is all that matters". These are one of the many repeating occurrences of NDE's from unrelated people across the world.
    I think we need a reexamination of what Love is as a society. Many do not even understand how to love because they have never been loved themselves. It is the responsibility of those of us who understand love to spread and show love to others so that they too can do the same.
    I believe that even the smallest gesture of love has drastic, butterfly effect effects in the universe as a whole. We should never stop loving. It is truly all that matters.

      I am sending you light and love all the way from NY. Your daughter is still with you because love never leaves and fundamentally we are all beings of love, and from what I have heard in other NDEs, the animals we connect with here will be reunited with us beyond the veil as well. I lost my furbaby Bubba a couple of months ago and was devastated, I still cry for him - but I realized that the tears I shed and the grief I feel is because of how much I truly loved him. It is hard to see past the physical here on earth sometimes, but I think that's part of the experience for our growth. Peace and love, Nikki xox

    Great experience! I think so many of us know how important it is to actively do what we can to make a positive impact on stranger's lives, but I think we sometimes forget to start with our families.
    I know I tend to take my amazing husband for granted and I need to constantly remind myself I need to do more to show him how much my life means with him!
    Maybe it's just me, but again, it's so easy to "forget" to do all we can for the ones we love the most.
    It's always important to do for those less fortunate, but we always need to first start this at home!
    Anyways I just thought I'd share this! 😊♥️

      I agree. Love and gratitude compliment each other. One of the small things we can do right now is to SHOW gratitude in our relationships, in our environment, and with ourselves. Gratitude is also known for dispelling depression.

    • @jenniferandrews8449
      @jenniferandrews8449 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @EcstaticTemporality yes! I think so many of us just get caught up in our daily interactions with family, that we overlook how important it is to practice showing appreciation and doing all we can for the people that mean the most to us!
      Whether it's a spouse, significant other, a child, mom/dad, siblings, etc if we fail to remember to do our best to lift them up, then we fail to do everything we can.
      That's not to say we shouldn't do for strangers, but we can practice this at home first!
      Thanks for your response to my comment! ♥️

      I often wonder the same, I wish a carrier pigeon would just drop a note to me from the heavens so I knew for sure where I'm supposed to go and what I'm supposed to do in order to fulfill my purpose as much as I can while I'm here. I think it does come down to connection and just being an example to others of peace and love so they can in turn do the same.

    You almost said it towards the end of you story. It isn’t so much about the destination or goal as it is about the journey/process of getting from where we are to where we want to be. I agree that when we search for a "purpose" to life, we will find there is no universal standardized purpose applied to everybody. Our purpose is unique to each of us. Additionally, the "meaning of life" is "to love" which is very simple to say, probably harder to do, and much harder to reconcile with the behaviors of others in our lives. For instance, during this NDE, the experiencer referred to an intense anger and antipathy towards her assailant; however, she recognized it and chose to forgive and practice love. Love is sometimes not our first response to the words and behaviors others. We can be mindful when that occurs and commit to countering that animosity or aloofness with compassion, mercy, and acceptance.

    Thanks for sharing this story. I had chills when it talked about if she were to stay she would still be with her family but in a different way. I lost my sister 11 1/2 years ago and I have had several experiences where she was able to communicate with me. It’s usually while I’m driving my car. One of the times I was at a point in my life when I felt really disconnected from the rest of my family and didn’t know how to fix it. I was able to feel her and then she put the words in my head, “why have you been feeling so alone? I’ve been here the entire time.” I miss her so much and I am so grateful for those experiences.

    3:00 "Sometimes, bad things happen to good people--not as a punishment, but--as a way to bring about greater good."
    This is indeed true! I actually already knew this. For instance, a father once lost his child to choking, so he created a device ("LifeVac") to save people from choaking (and it has). Had his father not lost his child to choking, he wouldn't have created the device. It's obviously unfortunate that his child died, but still. I also saw a video about a father who lost his son to suicide. While that is also very unfortunate, had his son not committed suicide, though, then his father wouldn't have started some organization or something to assist suicidal teens or something like that.
    Often, people don't feel the need to help others from misfortunes unless they see such misfortunes happen in their *own* lives.

Even being shot at in a car-jacking event in Iraq, the bullet hit the window opener motor, in the back-door, if not it would have hit me in my back. It affected me very hard, that there was people out there that were ready to kill me. Of course I knew that before, but this time it became reality & I understood the diference. But Jesus or his father, did not, contact me or gave me some explaination to life.

      Are you referring to why it's deeper? If so, I have a damaged recurrent laryngeal nerve, it was damaged during a wedge resection on my lung to remove a tumor. If you are referring to my accented voice when I am in front of the camera, that is because I don't feel the need to try and hide my accent. Usually when I narrate, I go with a non-regional accent.

    Absolutely sorry so long.
    I believe my life is in turmoil because I find it impossible to forgive some!
    Other than dangerous ignorant drivers...
    My real first forgiving story, I asked a pastor how can I ever forgive my brother (the mastermind manipulator POS) and sister (idiot patsy) who worked together trying to kill mom.
    My mom was in the early stages of altzmers, and I think dementia also. I lived hundreds of miles away, I knew very little. 😢
    My brother stole grandmas money when she was in the hospital. There isn't much that can be done, except put him in the hospital, but dad didn't.
    After dad died, they stole alot! Machinery from the farm was sold, but the excuse was it's old and this is all they would pay. He paid himself for the trouble of the work.
    We used to make concrete patio stones and statues. He sold those forms and kept most of the profits. Mom told me, but there was nothing she could do.
    They had her brainwashed of illnesses and the like. They took her to all kinds of doctors getting medicine for things she didn't have.
    Maybe the Dr's shrugged, I'm getting paid either way.
    One day, my sister in law went to the house to check on mom and my sister. Probably because the sister wasn't replying. Both were literally on their death beds.
    After extensive medical care Mom was taking in by another brother, taken to a new dr. She was on about 20 to 30 medicines! I think they hoped interactions would kill her!
    She lived for another 5 to 6 years.
    My sister.... I can only believe what my brother told me. She refused to talk much and pretended to either not care or act dumb. She is currently in a psych ward, I assume being pampered for the rest of her life.
    She was distressed because she had to be moms caregiver. 😔 Now she, I assume, believes she is living it up.
    Some rich man now owns the main side of the farm I was born and raised on.
    Idiot brother tried to sell the oil rights (definitely NOT his to sell) that had been on the farm in the beginning.
    Rich man's brother had my brother investigated and (giggle) he lost ALOT of money from fines.
    No more 2 to 3 vacations to Aruba each year!
    Rich man's brother was able to now own my brother's side of the farm!
    I feel I somewhat I can forgive them. They are paying a price. But my farm is gone! I learned that George Washington actually owned that land back in the day.
    Credit: WITF, Inc
    By the end of the American Revolutionary War, George Washington owned more than 58,000 acres in western Virginia and Pennsylvania, including 2,813 acres awarded to him by the British government for his service during the French and Indian War. In 1781 this parcel became part of the state's new Washington County, named in the general's honor
    A piece of history snatched up by Mr rich man.
    c'est la vie

    Ok - I’m seriously scaling things back to avoid having my comment deleted but I respectfully find myself skeptical that this ever happened.
    It doesn’t resonate and sounds very contrived and banal to me.
    I totally believe in NDEs but there is also a very real recent phenomenon of people making up NDEs in the same way that some people who never even served in the military claim to be Navy SEALS.
    Again, zero disrespect intended but this was more reminiscent of a banal Hallmark greetings card than an actual face to face encounter with our Source.

  • @dingleberries2708
    @dingleberries2708 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    All these NDE’s yet none are the same and the process after death is always different. Maybe just maybe it’s just your subconscious mind. You think you died and went to an afterlife, you may have lost a pulse but there’s no way there’s one God one heaven and one way to get there as in believing and accepting the Lord as your savior. Everyone has a story to tell because they think they went to heaven. I was in a coma and have plenty of stories none were about heaven or hell but the experiences were very real but all in all it was all a dream and the subconscious mind taking me to places like a time traveler.

    • @HeavenAwaits
      @HeavenAwaits  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      or maybe, each NDE is tailored specifically to the experiencer to help them grow.

      Why would we assume that everyone who died had the same after death experience? We all have different experiences while alive here. Why would it be different and universalized once one dies?

      We all share this planet together, but is the man, who lives across the road or around the corner, having the same life as me? I doubt it. Not everyone who has a medical trauma has an NDE.
