Was not prepared for Shang Chi to just pop up 😂

lol facts
I think this is what celeb heaven must be like Michael Jackson hanging with Prince, Muhammad Ali, Kobe 🤣
“He’s anointed… I started believin!” 😂
Baron made me chuckle the entire time. When he said, he's anointed, he got me believing, too, I almost choked on my coffee.
The rise of the New Orleans Hornets, the We Believe Warriors, The beginning of the Lob City Clippers, Linsanity. Baron was always there, somehow.
Wowwwwwwwww you damn right he was lmao.
Donald Sterling was going to practice just to call him a fat-ass when he was with the Clips 😂
No coincidences friend, he played a huge part in all of it. When he talked they listened. When someone puts they heart in it like he did, you pretty much have to listen
The Forrest Gump of the NBA
He is the glueeeee. I'm tellin ya no one knows why shit clicking and coming together, Baron just in the backdrop somewhere smiling
When he hit the game winner, turned around and started walking away with swag, that's when I became a fan of Linsanity. It's moments like Linsanity that makes me forever love sports, because in sports, anybody has a chance at glory.
You got that right. 💯
Yes most people dont get the chance for one game @spac4marine
@spac4marine 6 game glory lol
@spac4marinehow long did you pop off in the NBA?
@spac4marine he achieved more success and money in those “6 games” than you ever will in your life though 😂
Baron is so excited to talk about this too. the melo cast was holding him back a lot dam melo just dont wanna acknowledge Jeremy
I think he did... but Melo doesn't know how to play around a PG ! He has to have the ball for him to operate... def hurt Jeremy's game
@@TONYshoutout250- Not true. The heat exposed lin by forcing him to go left, which he couldn’t do, and they shut him down. From there, Lin sat out the rest of the season with a “knee injury”, so he wouldn’t get exposed further, so he could get a big contract with the rockets. With the rockets and beyond he was just a role player at best. That wasn’t Melo’s fault
@@dantegood2195You gotta understand D'Antonios system. Lin fit but wasn't running the offense correctly. When they started making him run the offense he got stopped
@@dantegood2195that’s a stretch. He had weaknesses but the NBA should have shut him down far earlier if Lin’s game didn’t have substance.
@@dantegood2195. I don’t know your sources, but Lin didn’t get an offer from the Knicks even though he wanted to stay. He had to take the Rockets. Melo didn’t want Lin to mess with the Melo centric basketball the Knicks were playing before.
Baaron voice is crazy. He should do Disney movie voice overs...He would crush it...
Him and nick young sound just alike lol
@@OOGRebelRu nah fix your ears 😂
Another grown man talking about Disney...grow up bruh.
@@theautomator2001 it was a compliment. Disney voice overs are done by big names, Kevin Hart, Chris Rock, etc. you grow up bruh. Get money
@@tradeforcharity who and who? They don't know you my son....keep watching the acolyte my boy.
I played against that guy back in the day-3rd, 4th, 5th grade. He was at West San Jose, playing for NJB. I remember him and another player who made a strong one-two punch. This guy was tall, even back then-an Asian kid who was just big, strong, and solid. He had that natural talent, you know? We were rivals for a couple of years, and I think his team beat us two or three times. We might have gotten them once. He used to frustrate the hell out of me, but looking back now, I don’t feel so bad anymore. Lol
Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow was in the same seaosn like the hype was crazy.
Lin had a pretty long career meanwhile Tebow was out of the NFL in a year.
Man, Tebow was garbage. There's a reason, pretty obvious too in the US, as to why there was any hype around Tebow to begin with.
@@HTTR1984 Tebow had a great college career, and was inexplicably winning in the NFL despite not being that great. The kneeling was a fun meme and all, but the Broncos went to the playoffs with Tebow, and the hype would not have lasted if they didn't win.
tebow was trash. the broncos were winning games in spite of him not bc of him. he had one great game that was it.
@@tommyfu9271 That's what I mean though, wins are wins, and he was hyped because they were winning, even if he sucked
4:48 my boy forgot it happened to also be Asian Heritage Night in toronto so the crowd was full of asian fans, which is why the place went wild over his buzzer beater. He would've had soooome hype if it were a normal night, but more "awww"s and walking out instead of everyone erupting in cheers for a loss
i remember i got $30 tickets to this game. can't imagine that'd be possible now
Jeremy Lin really coulda been someone in the NBA if them injuries didn't start piling up. Finally had a team built around him in Brooklyn, put up 18, then BOOM, patella. game over. Tragic, man.
People forget after the Miami game, Lin still came back the next game and put up 20/10 on Kyrie and the Cavs.
yea he was actually good in his prime. bron and company did their hardest to put a stop to it and thats understandable but Linsanity was doin work ngl
One of the craziest NBA stories. On the depth chart, knicks had BD, Bibby, Douglas and even Shumpert in front of Lin that yr. Truly a miracle 😂
Baron a hidden gem when it comes to these podcasts 😂 hes hilarious
BD a dope dude for being a fan of Linsanity & how he's been talking about it in podcasts
Lin sanity was crazy, when he hit the game winner he was certified. You jus had to be there bro
Anytime I watch a documentary on Linsanity, I get those chills all over again. True underdog story that took over the world.
"The Heatles".....hahaha
It warms my heart to hear Baron Davis giving Jeremy his flowers.
Mad respect
Baron just sounds like he was great teammate man
Dude! I was a heat fan and I was rooting for Jeremy Lin! Considering Lin is a CHRISTian the Angels in the outfield description works!
Was at the Toronto game. Craziest reaction I’ve seen apart from the Kawahi shot.
this is great cuz they’re not like making fun of lin they’re just reveling in the experience of it all lol. baron is hilarious
No one remembers, soon as Melo came back he killed the fire of Lin sanity real quick.
Jeremy was a solid player!
When Davis said “shit I better get ready”, that’s what cracked me up
They already dropped one but we need a new linsanity doc for sure.
1:57 So Baron Davis was trying to encourage Kobe Bryant, who was on a rival team, to shut down his teammate Jeremy Lin in order to end Linsanity? Hmmm......
@ZoraDelaney
This is the mindset that kept Black people Playing from behind.
Baron is kind of messed up actually if you listen to other interviews. Simu is there to keep him from saying something racist
We blacks talk like this with smile daily in inner city courts. You don’t understand anything it isn’t drama.
Good lord it’s a joke man. Did you hear the part where he told Dantoni to keep him in?
@@harvardarchaeologydept3799 LOL I'm black too.....
F#%king LOVE this! 🫡🤙🏾💜
I love that Baron was excited for his success, instead of being a hater.
I hope one day Melo and Lin go on the podcast to talk about what really happened
they might sit down but melo will never admit to being jealous of linsanity. which has been said by other teammates like amare and others
we know what happened.
@@808BuddhaFacts!
Melo knew that Lin wasn’t going to last. That was Mike Dantoni fingerprints. Lin played with better offensive talent than Melo and still failed. He had a hot run for 2 weeks and that’s it
@@austinburwell5834wtf melo do in New York tho? 1 playoff series win in 9 years? Missed the playoffs more than he made. Selfish guy with selfish mental
That was such a killer little moment in time. Jeremy Lin was magic for that period.
The Heatles 😂
The Heatles! 🤣
I had just moved to Dongguan for Linsanity. February 2012.
man the storylines in those days felt like movies lmao
Nah Linsanity was really one of those moments you had to be there. I’ll
Never forget that Kobe interview. Lin came out and did Derrick fisher so dirty 😂. Then the Knicks played Bron and the Heat and Lin couldn’t handle that Wade/Bron full court press lol
Baron Davis needs a mic in front of him at all times.
He’s not a reliable source of information, but he’s entertaining
@@eric2892 There are a lot of people who are poor sources of information with a mic/platform, I know how to filter the B.S., like Desean Jackson thinking he can beat Jeff Teague in basketball 1-on-1. He wildin'.
If you weren't in NY during Linsanity, it's almost impossible to explain. In hindsight, it was....insane.
He got the order of the games wrong. The Knicks played LA before the Toronto game-winner.
I can't believe they talked about this and didn't mention Rondo turning the water off
I hadn't heard about that one (unless I forgot about it). What happened?
BDavis voice is crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jeremy Lin needs to be respected more, sorry.
Y'all gotta STFU an let him talk. Y'all wasn't there 🤦
Relax, We felt like we were there
3:19 damn they really out here tryin to latch onto the next player making a name for himself
All the Ming dynasty came back and possessed Jeremy Lin those games
Why he call Lin's rise Angels in the outfield? Lol 😂😂😂😂
because it was a miracle story like the movie is one
After the 1st game, carmelo was calling everybody in the Knicks org to get Lin the F out of NYC.
The crazies 2 weeks in basketball lol
First time watching the shop. Dope. Also thought they were all sitting on wheelchairs at first ♿️
same haha
"BD you was there for linsanity?" no duh. he's been telling the same damn story for like 10yrs.
Melo sabotaging Lin was one of the worst thing to happen in sports history. Glad Lin won a ring before his career ended.
It was a great stretch until we saw Miami, they changed that boy life
BD killin me 😂
Heatnation!
They tried to reinvent Jordan but Asian and it was working, I remember watching the Knicks for a few games because of Jeremy Lin but that ended quick, like real quick😂 Bron and Wade shut that down😂
Simu made it to The Shop, Simsanity 😅
It was one of the most beautiful moments in all sports, ruined by the ego of Melo. Then he was pushed out the league because of the NBA does what the Chinese want (Chinese hated that Lin was Taiwan).
Melo was the most overrated player and biggest waste of talent in nba history.
He was rolling til the big 3 Heat absolutely erased him
Alot of folks blame Melo for stopping Linsanity, but it was actually Miami Heat who did it. And I remember earlier that season Bron complained that the Heatles were getting too much media attention that year.
Nah, that beat down you knew it was coming for sure. It's normal when you're a rook or rising star. Look at what happened to Caitlyn Clark, she experienced the same - no foul calls, double teams, cheap shots, over the top physicality, etc. But eventually, they figure it out. Not saying Melo did anything intentional but him coming back messed up the team chemistry and the play style. More iso-ball and less PnR. I'll also say JLin wasn't any S-rank player. He was solid player at best (really good at PnR) and just took his shot when it counted with the right pieces around him. But it sure was one hell of a ride.
Linsanity was sick af
Like the Yankee's Shane Spencer hype for a few games
this was way crazier than Spencer.
Linsanity felt like 2 seasons
Baron Davis' voice sounds like a black Steve-O
Then melo had to come back and end it smh.. melo always been a me Me me guy and when it ain’t him he can’t handle that..which is why he never won an nba championship. College doesn’t count
7 games then Melo caught feelings & froze Lin out w his ISO -selfish offense
I thought they were all sitting in wheelchairs at first
See, this is what I don't get. When he was playing it seems almost every African American player had it out for Jeremy Lin. Now that he's gone, likely for good with all his injuries, I get this feeling that most of that generation of NBA players felt they went too hard on him on a personal level. Why the hate in the first place?
And then Carmelo ruined it 😂
Wym he christian 😂😂😂
@mattycampy I was literally quoting BD on what he said to his hollywood homegirl who was trying to hit on j lin and laughing at the situation. Relax I'm a Christian and I know j lin is a devout Christian that's why I like him. Did you even watch the video?
@@ClippersFour probably just knows his homegirls type maybe
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
linsanity isnt worth being talked about today and no its not like angels in the outfield. what athletes have to say is the last thing that is interesting. paid to play. not speak
as an asian i hate simu
Yo lebron friend lookin like a goblin
Makes sense that Simu will be on Leflop's show, will never forgive that dude for spoiling finale of mandalorian season2
lol funny as hell how jealous these athletes get because of the spotlight
