Notice how noisy they are. Not one person looked up or held their ears. The amphitheatre show went on without anyone noticing the monorail going overhead.
Yes, monorails are very quiet, but if you want to make a better point, use a transit grade monorail like any of the Hitachi Monorails (Chongqing, Tama, Osaka, Naha) as an example of quiet, elevated mass transportation.
I filmed this during the California State Fair. In 2018, this is July 13-29. I'm not sure if the monorail runs for other evens at the fairgrounds. This is in Sacramento, California. I took a short bus ride from downtown to get to the fair.
