@JJJRRRJJJ Those awesome finds are what keeps us searching coin rolls, of every demnomination, "Treasure Hunting." It helps me remember my great-grandfather. Born in 1880, I can only dream of the coinage he had in his pockets. Our family progenitors, on the 1st Mayflower1620 A.D. were very poor and carried little money. Pinetree Shillings, Three and Six Pences, Wow 👌. Trading with the Native Americans, colonists used Periwinkle shells as Wampum. West Indies Spanish dollars & fractional silver. Pieces of Eight eventually found their way into the colonies.
@timsmith9645 I've never seen anyone search rolls like you do Ga ! I'm still searching. I haven't been doing quarters at all nor halves. I'll start up again after Thanksgiving ! I know there's plenty of Ag just waiting for the kids to raid grandpa's oin collection. Lol, I would still have my 1858 Flying Eagle cent, Booker T, and Balboa. They all were exchanged for baseball cards, at the candy shop. 5 cents a pack, in the '50s
I almost got back into collecting coins but instead went back to collecting Hot Wheels and other die-cast cars. Some of them are worth a small fortune and they typically cost just north of a $1.
I went a little overboard at the bank today. Got two boxes of pennies and 40 rolls of halves. Halves were a bust but I just finished the first penny box and got 75 wheats. Last week I had 70-something in two boxes.
@@GASilverHunter I'm telling you, the wheats are flowing in my area. Had 18 more in my second box. Found four I needed for my book (1917-D, a heavily corroded 1926, 1949-S, and 1954-S.)
Thanksgiving and Christmas typically are the times people inadvertently spend silver, without knowing it's value. It coincides with all of my finds, while searching rolls.
I got two 1968 D silver halves and two war nickels this week. No silver dimes in $500 in dimes and just the two war nickies in almost 300 to look through.
Keep those hunts coming please. I truly appreciate what you do for the coin community. No relation to the video but I'm on my 3rd Roosevelt dimes album and I'm having a heck of a time finding Denver minted anything ( & I reside in Florida). Thanks again.
I hunted some rolls of halves I got from the bank today. They had 5 rolls of bank wrapped rolls. No silver and like you I found a bunch of brand new coins
I just picked up 2 boxes. 1 looks fairly well circulated. The 2nd box looks like abou 75% all new 2023s. Guess we will see tonight when I crack into them.
New to coin hunting, I have a question: when you get a box from the bank do you pre-order the box or do they just have it “like in stock”? Thanks in advance for your help. Love your channel.
Hi GA! Found my very first BARBER about 30 minutes ago. I’m hyped. Just a slick 1907 but I don’t care.
Finding a Barber is an awesome experience! Congrats!
@@GASilverHunter still waiting for my true Barber box akin to yours!
Keep hunting GA …. Like the gold half !! I have about 12 plated ones 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Good hunt!
Ish... :-)
Gotta have these skunk boxes to truly appreciate the big silver dumps. Great vid and thanks for showing the truth about CRH.
looks like the extra metal on the gold half dollar is JB weld maybe it was in a belt buckle or something
Tough hunt! Stay on them.
Knock on wood... I have only had a few bad ones like this in the last few months.

That’s crazy on the wheaties. I get 8. 😀

I hear this from a lot of people and its probably true. For me though, I do the worst in December.

I go through some dime hunts that have a fair amount of D's but mostly P's.

@@GASilverHunter I’m guessing they had a box and I got what was left
Time to do more penny hunts then! Hahaha
Been getting quite a few full 2023 boxes recently. Just gotta keep pushing through! Maybe next week
Picking up 2 more boxes today. Hopefully no full boxes of 23s this time
@@GASilverHunter good luck!
looks like my boxes lately
Hopefully they change up this week.

Both. Halves and dollar coins I order. All other denominations I take what I can get from bank stock.
This was derp :D
Ha
Got two box’s today after taking a couple months break. Both are brand new coins. Ugh frustrating.
That stinks... its going around though.
Beans
😂 that’s crazy. My last box had nothing but 2023 Denvers in it I kept five rolls.
Every time I see you mention gold, I think to myself "Did he finally find the 2014-W 90% gold half!?" Haha.
I wish I did!
