Hey! Good question. No, not all of the lenses that EBD offers have this feature. On the St. Michels glasses, I went for the "Blue Light" filter lens ($19.00) as to the Lock glasses where I ordered the "Most Popular" lens ($18.95) and they have quite different colored glares. In the Blue Light filter lens, there is a bit of a yellow hue to the actual lens which gives a warmer tone to your vision, everything looks warmer with the glasses on than true, natural light. Hi mini peachy! I'm so sorry to hear that.. so it's been over a year since I got these glasses and the St. Michels are currently my everyday glasses and so far so good! I have not had any headaches due to the lenses and they've been great to me. I think I'm gonna go back to buy a new pair soon from EBD as I do not take the best care of my glasses and the lens has minor scratches (due to my own faults). My everyday lens has the blue light protection which, honestly, I don't know if that really does anything, all I notice is that it makes everything around me a lot more warm toned. Hope this helps! x

Hello! I apologize for the late reply, since I lived in Hawaii and I purchased my glasses during a huge BOGO sale, it did take a while for my glasses to arrive. I was just checking to see some of your past videos and was surprised that you didn't make any videos from 2013 until now. In those older videos your not even wearing glasses. So would I be right in assuming that you only started wearing glasses some time after 2013? You appear to now wear your glasses full time. Your current glasses still look really nice even though they were broken and you had to repair them. The repairs aren't noticeable and they still look very nice on you. I love both of your new pairs of glasses. I like that you went with a completely different style for your new glasses. Both being a wire frame glasses. The first pair reminds me so much of John Lennon's glasses that he always wore. And something different in an aviator style frame. More of a round shape instead of the traditional shape i'm used to seeing. They both fit you perfectly and they really do suite you very well. I'm sure that as soon as you put them on you had to notice how much lighter in weight they are compared to your previous plastic framed glasses. I noticed as you were trying them on that I got a a couple good looks through your lenses and it's easy to see that your nearsighted and nearsighted enough that you likely wear your glasses quite often if not full time. If you don't mind my asking what is your prescription? I'm a retired optician if you're wondering. Oh and when did you start wearing glasses?
Hi Jim! Thanks for your comment, and yes it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything and really different content from that of my old videos. I don’t quite remember when I started using glasses full time, perhaps around 5-6 years ago. My first pair was only used on occasion as they were correctional lenses, and obviously as time has progressed, I began using my phone and computer more to the point that my eyesight started declining. These newest lenses, my OS is -1.50 and OD is -2.00. Hopefully I got that right haha 👍🏽
Thank you for replying. I had a feeling that you probably first started wearing sometime after 2013 since you weren't wearing glasses in any of those earlier videos. Once you start wearing glasses it's really very common that every year after that you're eyesight worsens slightly. In part because of how and what you use your eyes for does contribute to the decline. So you're right the more you use your computer and phone can make a difference but even not using any of those things at all your eyes were certain to change anyway just because ae you were growing so were your eyes. Having your eyesight change is a part of you're growing process. Just like I would bet that one or both of your parents wore glasses when they were younger. If only one parent wore glasses the odds of you needing glasses was at around 50% and if both parents wore glasses then the odds were nearly 100% that you would be getting glasses as well. So you likely got glasses because of getting your parents genes which of course you had no control over. Thanks for posting your prescription. Your glasses really aren't very strong, but more than enough to make a difference in how you see things. You should be able to go without your glasses around your house pretty well if you wanted to. But once you're outside you need to have your glasses on. Even though you probably leave your glasses on when reading you should still be able to read from a book pretty well without your glasses. And actually something you may not know is that if you are able to read comfortably and without any effort without your glasses being on anytime that you're doing a lot of reading or maybe studying you really should take your glasses off. Your glasses are really only for helping you see distance. You didn't get glasses because you needed them for reading. Now the computer and your phone is up to you. Of course I don't mean that if you get a text that you need to take your glasses off to read it. Only when you're going to be reading for more than say 30 minutes or so. The more you wear your glasses for reading the more you're going to make yourself dependent on your glasses for reading and reading may become uncomfortable without your glasses. You appear to be very comfortable wearing glasses now. Usually once you get used to wearing glasses you hardly notice that you're even wearing glasses. And of course the more you like the glasses you're wearing the more you enjoy wearing them. I'm sure that you have gotten plenty of nice complements on your new glasses which every girl likes getting. When you ordered your glasses did you not get the optional AT coating (anti-reflective) on your lenses? That coating is really really good with eliminating glare and reflections off your glasses. It's only a $5.00 option with Eye Buy Direct. That same coating costs anywhere from $45.00 to over $100.00 at your local optical store. Insurance doesn't cover it. Now that you have bought glasses on line and found out that the quality is jsut as good as your local optical store and that the price of yourr glasses is abot 1/10 of what you have paid for glasses at your local optical store I have a feeling that your next glasses will come from Eye Buy Direct again? You maybe interested to learn that EBD is not the only good site for ordering your glasses from. Personally I always recommend Zenni (zenni.com) They actually have a rather nice selection of glasses for $6.95 and that includes the prescription lenses.
If I could just make one recommendation to the peoples! I want to vouch for specsbylux.com - they have great reviews on their customer service, they’re super responsive, and they’re staffed with opticians that have been working in the industry for 25+ years... You cannot go wrong
