Sorin you are right about people being scared to try.. I am 67 years old and am trying to teach myself basic electronics.. I play with the arduino and all the break out boards But what I really want to to is understand how it all works together.. watching you and your channel has taught me a lot.. you explain things very well.. always trying to boost the confidence of the beginner.. I do not know about twitch and am also afraid of going there.. I use my email and youtube and that is about it.. at any rate I just want to thank you for your patients and your teaching.. I am learning.. carry on, be safe and have a very Merry Christmas!

I think the secret of success of this channel is the way you use to explain the faulty issues , and the practical way of repair not the academic way
    Thank you Sorin

Sorin your job is amazing. Your channel is the best channel on TH-cam to learn electronics. Really, through your videos we can feel that you love electronics and you share this with us. Since I discovered your channel, I have become a big fan of electronics. I bought a microscope, solder iron, heat gun etc... And now I can repair some things like my old Samsung s7, my hp laptop etc... I love that, I love when the fault is gone... Thank you very much for this Sorin, you are the best. Keep everything like that, don't change.
    Your friend from France 😉😉😉

Hi, Sorin, Thanks for your video. I'm going crazy seeing your videos, because of the following:
    1) How do you know the function of a certain chip you identify "hotter" thsn the others.
    2) Your soldering skills: I dunno if it is a fault my hot air handblower, but I can solder these devices with lot of difficulties, without blowing things apart with the hot air. I've tried to slow down the air flux, rise the temperature, but this way, lots of times, soldering won't happen. And I don't DARE do this process on iPhones, for the silicon glue all around components.
Furthermore, today's solder, fuses at higher temperatures that the older one, this drives me crazy to which temperature I have to set on the hot air blower.
    3) How you can be sure that once soldered, the chip don't have any hidden short under. So, you finally ADD a fault, instead of removing one. I did lot of exercises on broken boards, but when resoldered I CAN'T know if the soldering process gone correctly, since it is already a broken board....
for your info, My hot air handgun, has a blower fan inside the handle. Could be this the reason for my soldering difficulties?

WiFi chip on iPhone is not risky it’s just a job to do it when you have the skill that is needed, but also must have the right tools to do that, cause you have to take NAND out some times. For our luck on other devices you just replace or reball WiFi chip

Excellent repair Videos as always !!! I have a question to ask: The small plastic Latch on the Processor flat ribbon cable for the Screen Output connection broke when l was trying to lift it to replace the battery on my Samsung TabS 10.5 SM-T800 Are there replacements available to buy and are they quite straight forward to pop back into place to get the screen output working again? What is your advice and have you done this type of repair before ? I look forward to hearing from you with your advice - Thanks.

I have a weird problem with a Samsung tab 2 , 10.1. It charges ok when its turned on, 1amp showing on in line tester and battery percentage going up, but when it's turned off I connect the charger"original samsung charger and lead" and no battery status icon comes up to show its charging, even when its pulling 1amp through tester. When I try to start the tablet after having the charger connected it won't start. Only way to get it to start is to remove the back cover and unclip the battery for 10 seconds . I have changed the battery and the usb lead and reset to factory settings, still doing the same. Was wondering if you had seen this problem before.Thanks.

I have one of those tablets and it is stuck in a boot loop. I can sometimes use it for a few minutes before it reboots on me. I've installed a new operating system and that didn't fix it.
I also tried putting in a new battery which made no difference. I watched one video of yours in which the battery connection was broken causing a similar problem but couldn't see any problem with that on this tablet. Tablet worked fine for just a little over a year before this started.
Any idea as to why it would do this and how I can fix it? Thanks

I wonder if you can figure out my Samsung Tab S problem. It keeps rebooting over and over again. Sometimes it will come up for like a few minutes then go back into a reboot loop. I already reformatted it like new and I got a new battery but still keeps having a problem. Is it an easy fix or should I sell it it for parts? I looked up videos of the same problem and it didn't seem to fix it. My dad thinks maybe it's the motherboard that could be going.

Hi Sorin, a few days ago, I had a similar problem on my ASUS ZenFone 2. WiFi/Bluetooth/FM Radio was not working and all those things depends on a BCM4339XKUBG IC. I had a dead motherboard of the same phone lying around and replaced the WiFi chip. Everything works now except that 2.4 GHz WiFi is not that stable as before. I lose signal sometimes. I suspect it to be happening because I did not reball the chip but put it as is and hence it is not making contact with some of the pads on the motherboard. I am planning to buy a replacement chip from AliExpress. Do you know if the chips come preballed? Thanks in advance. I love your work. :)

First we all can Just immagine pilots when they are all their instruments for the First Time, but at least they learn to fly and second there's the 10k theory , we all should Need 10000 hours to learn something and be a pro on It, it's Just 8 hours per day for 4 yrs that mean that if you/we want really do something we got to go addicted with It,I don't like electronics but I'm pushing. Good luck to people who deserves It .

Can anyone in the comment section please recommend any course where I could learn the basics to be able to understand what Sorin is doing in his videos? I am over 30 years old with zero knowledge of electronics. I studied humanities. I am starting to learn how to solder, I change phone screens for my friends, I clean water damaged laptops and phones, I repaired headphones by re-soldering some wires. I really started enjoying repairing stuff. I watch these videos to learn more, but I don't understand 90% of what is going on in these videos. I have no idea what the voltage and amperage info in the corner of the screen is showing, how he measures it, I don't understand what it means when something is ground, short. I am just missing the very basics. It feels like joining a university course in the last year after skipping all the previous years :D Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
