Sad to see condition of our country where few govt professor earn only 1 lakh with 30% tax slab where as more assistant professor are private earning merely 25k per month even small cycle kulcha wala earn 40k/ month without any tax education has no value in this country

Salary structure mostly.
15,000 in private college
18,000 in college in any district of state
35,000 in private universities.
35,000/57,000 in University which are private+ govt aided.
57,000 in Govt affiliated University.
57,000 (basic pay) for parmanent assistant professor in private+govt aided or govt University and college.

Also, you talked about private and government institutions, but what about government-affiliated private colleges?

If anyone qualified Jrf & pursuing PhD & getting fellowship, he/she can not work as assistant professor. Or if they wanna work as an assistant professor simultaneously, won't get Fellowship.

I am two times net cleared person. I am working in 14000, This is reality of our education system, my college is affiliated to DAVV a state university.
I am also a CODE 28 interview cleared person in University. Currently We are 4 person who handling more tha 350 students in college.
I also applied for govt asst prof. vacancies in mp but I applied in dec 2022 and Mppsc has no exam date.
This is so sad yet reality. This literally has happened to my knows as well.

You can try Central University of Tamil Nadu once for phd.. The form is out, 3-4 days are remaining. With NET most probably you will get a seat.

Have a simple query mam, i am pursuing my MA in pol sc from IGNOU bcz of the cse preparation mam but if in future i 'll choose to prepare for the lecturer or assistant professor...is the same distnace degree of ma gonna create some issue i mean is there some discriminating factors tied with
Mode of degree is not a criteria to become a professor so that won’t be an issue but yes if you haven’t done a regular degree then maybe at interview you would be asked questions regarding it. So be ready to justify your answer and handle it well
