Dang weather has been keeping me from some winter saltwater fishing so I've just been browsing the Tube watching fishing videos and yours came up as a suggestion and now I see a new way to cook Sheepshead. New subscriber from Louisiana.

Great video, keep them coming What's the length on your father's fishing rod, looks like it's shorter than yours. And what is the complete set up you recommend: type of rod, type(lb) leader line, and main line(lb) Also , how do you setup your drag, loose, tigh?
Thanks brother! Dad’s using a 7’ rod. I use a 7’4” medium fast with 20lb braided main line to 20lb fluorocarbon leader. I keep the drag pretty tight to pull them out of the structure.
I caught me a moster Sheephead a few months ago. 28in.😮 I just took out his guts and shell's and rolled it 3 times in foli lut some lemon juice pepper and salt a few rings of oinion. Shit load of fish tacos.😳🤤😋😋😊

I don't judge a fisherman by the size of the fish they catch. I judge them by how they REACT to catching fish. This guy is "chuckling" at 5 pound sheepshead...... He won't get excited until it's double digits.... That's a fisherman.....
