2022 update:
Ubisoft announced that several of the older games such as Assassin's Creed: Liberation will not only be no longer accessible for online play, but after 1st of September, will be completely removed from Steam, including the purchased copies, with no information about refunds provided. The reason? "Combat piracy". The irony? Those games will be available to download only through torrent sites.

BUT IT'S TRUE, They could have had a Ray-Man X Mario mash up, if memory recalls I think Ray-Man had skins of Mario at one point it could have possibly worked out but instead we get a pack of Bugs Bunny on crocodile (Or however you call that drug.) Substance.
In my eyes, one of the biggest Ubisoft fails was Rainbow Six Siege's "Operation Health". It was 2017's 2nd update in which the devs planned to fix a lot of the game's bugs, like not being able to move or shooting through steel walls. However, that didn't do jack crap & to this day, the game is still buggy as hell. Nice going, Ubisoft.
It was probably payback for featuring a funny clip from one of RL's top tens.
But the footage introducing each entry was from a musical WIN! And they got an actual opera singer to voice the Phantom!
To the question of Just Dance being on the Wii, I heard that hospitals and physical therapy places have Wiis and use Just Dance as a way of making patients more physically active and healthy.
I think that's pretty cool!

Well... Wii still has a massive install base since some people don't upgrade that often. Especially casual users.
Besides modern consoles don't really have camera motion controls ever since Microsoft pushed Kinnekt off a cliff.

They hit a gold mine with Assassins Creed and really REALLY want to repeat that.
After all 2 giant franchises are better than one... and how about 3!
So ubi tries hard at making their IPs into big franchises.
Some succeed (Like siege, Division and Far Cry) others are pretty stable but far from being cash cows (For Honor, ANNO) and some fail (Might and Magic).
What about the rest of the companies

Square Enix is that perfectionist method acting actor....great and awesome, but at times get so unnecessarily artistic that we can’t understand it (cough, lore and Latin words, cough)

And literal days before you uploaded this it's been revealed that Ubisoft is gonna penalize people that make modded quests of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey to bypass the excessive grinding that serves to coerce people into buying microtransactions.
@Madfox Josh said it best, they're more stupid than malicious. And even when they want to be greedy bastards they're too incompetent to hide it. Like, they literally called it in their statement as "we don't want the integrity of the game experience to be jeopardized" or some BS like that. And what's worse is that the people who were making those modded quests were doing it for the campaign, the offline single player campaign, not the multiplayer.

The dancing games being on the Wii is actually for some hospitals that use the games for physical therapy for patients who have strokes and such, and the hospitals use Wiis, which is why the games keep getting released there.
Do they really need new ones though? I’d think one Just Dance would do the job

Another honorable mention: Release timing for Starlink: Battle for Atlas. A game that actually did something creative with the idea of toys-to-life, but was a commercial flop largely due to coming out too long after the popularity of the model died out.
yup...plus the admittedly positive inclusion of not requiring the toys made them overpriced DLC whether you bought them digitally or as toys. and they released more content digital only as the toys flopped hard ( pretty sure the majority of us just wanted the Arwing anyway.... )

Regarding number 10, I believe the decision to go multiplatform was the result of ZombiU underperforming. So, not wanting another dud, they delayed the game so they could release it in other platforms.

Puyo Puyo Tetris was made by Sega. The Tetris Company sends out licenses out to many other companies. Not keeping an eye on how UbiSoft was making their rendition of Tetris was more a fail on The Tetris Company's part.

This happened months ago but an additional fail should be the sexism in Ubisoft’s top management. The development team for Odyssey wanted Kassandra to be the sole protagonist but the top brass struck this down in favor of choosing between Alexios and Kassandra because, and I quote, “women don’t sell.”
Tbh having just dance to be available on the wii does really help and they actually IMPROVED THE MECHANICS It wasn’t shake and win

I feel kinda bad for Bethesda. At least up until Skyrim they were great at storytelling and art direction. They just sucked at programming and implementation. Sure, they release broken games and seem to expect the modding community to fix the bugs and horrifically unbalanced gameplay, but they also *provide* gamers with the tools necessary to do so. I see a lot of passion in that company, even skill, just not skill in the areas you *need* for video games.

Hey, uh, Josh? Around the time the E3 announcement of Just Dance 2020 happened, I was told why it's on the Wii(and not the Wii U despite it being in the middle like that).
Hospitals.
When the Wii came out, a number of hospitals bought it to help with patients's recoveries with physical injuries and whatnot. As a result, Ubisoft is still releasing the game for the Wii for those patients. As for the Wii U, well, it's obviously because it sold a mere fraction compared to the Wii, and, because hospitals likely didn't buy Wii Us and that people are apparently getting rid of them(not me), they see no reason to put it on the Wii U.
You know, after seeing you use Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle for each title card, and remembering what an amazingly unexpected gem that was, I kind a want to see you do a top 10 Ubisoft Wins. Or he’ll, maybe for each company.
Although I will accept the possibility that you can’t find 10 for some of these companies.

The story I heard regarding the Rayman Legends delay was Microsoft had some deal where multiplatform titles couldn’t release on other systems before Xbox so the finished WiiU version sat around till the month with GTAV and Pokémon😀
I'm only glad Ubisoft hasn't nearly been as bad as EA or Activision or even Capcom and Konami screwups.
As much as I hate to ask it... I think we could use a top 10 SEGA fails to help see what goes wrong with some of my favorite hedgehogs home company. I expect to hear about underused franchises like NIGHTS and Billy Hatcher, not giving Sonic a chance to rest, and how they no longer are console makers if you ever get around to that.
But yeah, Ubisoft REALLY messes up a lot don't they? I'm just glad they try to fix their messes most of the time.

Yeah it was crap, and there was no Metroid game since it (really need to check release date for Metroid Fusion), and fans are still pissed over it, but brining it up again won't solve anything
It happened, and I've long since accepted it as part of Metroid cannon.
I still don't like the story it tried to force down my throat, but if Nintendo keeps the promise of prime 4 up, we might see a revival of Metroid franchise
If not, I'm okay with letting Metroid finally pass on.
It had great games (super Metroid still my fave), and if it's time is over, I'm perfectly fine to let it retire, making occasional cameos like Samus in SMASH, metroids appearing in games like kid icarus, hell, Samus is apparently cannon to Kirby universe, so another came there would be nice
My point is - other M story is crap, but game play itself wasn't half bad.
If other M is the last true game, and prime 4 never releases, the series won't go out with a bang, but with a whimper.
And sometimes, it's best for the franchise to go out quietly, then having its name drag through the mud before it dies. (looking at you every Capcom game)

Me: "federation force does not count as Metroid game. Samus isn't even in it. That would be like claiming luigi's mansion is Mario game. It's not, its Luigi's game. If the main character of the franchise doesn't appear in the game, that game isn't really a part of that franchise. Luigi's mansion, does not belong to Mario series of games, but to Luigi series of games. Similarly, federation force, only bares the name of Metroid franchise, but because Samus isn't in it, it's not actually part of Metroid franchise. Try changing my mind. You'll fail harder then EA and KONAMI combined"
It’s mostly due to their terrible PC ports, shietty DRM and...ugh...Uplay why I don’t plan to play any Ubisoft-published game on PC anytime soon.

For someone who still enjoyed Assassin Creed and Far Cry to this day, I do appreciate Josh’s more open minded critique that Ubisoft is more “stupid” than “evil”, even though I know Josh hates the AC series. So many people like to hate on Ubisoft, but tbh, their games are all pretty solid and they do respond somewhat to player’s complaints. People like to compare it to EA but that’s going to far for me, seeing how EA treated fans and employees like shit

Oh god that last one hit too much for me. There were some games I owned that I absolutely loved playing, but for some reason I couldn't launch them at all due to Uplay. One of them I haven't even been able to launch for months no matter what I've tried and I still to this day haven't been able to launch it. Also what's even the point in having me install another launcher just to play a game I bought on steam.
I would imagine the drawing for Top 10 Bethesda Fails is of the persona of the company trying to snatch the devil horns off EA's head and Josh is looking at it with one big eye to give off a "You think I don't see THAT" kind of look.
