Same. Passed thru concept 90 three times. Paroled there twice and maxed out of there. I use to try to sneak down the basement to get a glimpse of the underground tunnels. Dan was an excellent counselor at gaudenzia
I remember when it was gaudenzia concept 90. I stayed here for a few months. Its different seeing it like this. The memories i made in thst old building, I'll never forget
Memories? Like what? It was a 1/2 way house for state prison inmates. Or a looney bin,or a drug program that was basically jail itself. It was the last stop before back to prison. Can't imagine any good memories coming out of those buildings.
@Chripiter I met people I still talk to today. Memorable staff members. Trust me. I'm aware freedom is best. But I learned to appreciate times for what they are, can be, and what you make them. When I was there the halfway house was empty for a while. I was in the building beside that. The old psychiatric housing building.
That whole complex is creepy a AF. Couldn't pay me enough to spend the night in one of those buildings by myself. The grounds are exactly how you would expect a state mental hospital to be. Ice baths, electro shock thereapy, and lobotomies performed on sick people against their will. Alcoholics also. Its got a terrible history. How we treated the insane, and Alcoholic, drug addicted not so long ago was a real shame
