Hi Edumont team. Informative video 👍🏻. A small request, can you put subtitles for your videos? Not all of us can understand Hindi very well. English subtitles would definitely help.
if graduation in bcom is pursued from University school of open learning, and have low grades in bcom, then how can we pursue bridge course to become eligible for cpa?
Hi @vaibbhavnigam4763 Kindly be aware that each year of university education typically yields 30 credits. Therefore, you currently have a total of 90 credits. Hi, Thank you for your question. Whereas having a B.Com with 66% and from a NAAC 'A' accredited college is something to feel proud of, the CPA credit system does not grant any extra credit points per se based on the percentage or division. The credit requirement for the CPA exam is usually calculated by how many academic credit hours have been completed in relevant subjects, and it does not cover the performance or grades. Since the CPA requires 150 credit hours, a single B.Com probably isn't going to cut it. Unfortunately, a B.Ed with 82% will probably not add up to those extra hours since this degree is not about business, accounting, or finance. The option of 150 hours is better utilized by pursuing higher qualifications in a related field such as M. Com, MBA (accounting-related courses), and additional accounting/business courses. Sadly no. Since CMA is a professional designation and for credits we need University education, CMA, ACCA, CFA are not counted towards credit points. They do however help in elevating your career to new heights.
