Your scoop skills are on point. Been doing this awhile? I just bought the TRex scoop. I'm taking it out for it's maiden voyage tomorrow. I'm very excited!

is your beach scoop any good on the dry sand, or better suited for wet easy sand?
      cheers

+Tugboat It is good for both wet and dry. If you only hunt dry sand they make a smaller one just for the dry sand. I hunt 99% of the time in the wet so I stay with this one.

cheers, forgot to ask what brand is it? as i am new to the sport/hobby i have been using a potting mini spade and a camping fold up shovel! i have also seen the plastic hand scoop! are they any good! and i think a pinpointer i might need! but it all adds up!

My scoop is a T-Rex. Some people complain that is a little heavy but it doesn't bother me. Some people also use a sunspot scoop. I would not use the plastic scoop. All that bending down will take a toll on you after a while. Also the plastic scoop would brake easy. Also as you can see I don't use a pin pointer on the beach. I don't need one.
