Highest respect for you talent and feeling that makes the piano version a brilliant song. However, beeing a "late starter", I am missing some didactic guidance through the lesson, that helps me to digest the lesson bit by bit and to remember what I am just doing/learning. A lttle less speed and some helping bridges to remember and fixing it in mind would help a lot. Kind regards, Ralf
You might try leaving out the thumb's E, and instead put thumb on A. Then use 3&4 for the quick C# and D. Best way to perfect any passage is to slow it way down. Don't speed up until you can play it at a slower speed. Good luck!
gotta say christmas shoes is a sad one too being created beacuse of the writers wife and daughter being killed in a car crash with a drunk driver during christmas time he actually performed the song himself at my church liberty university along with the writer of mary did you know it was so sad hearing him have to repeat the story behind the song before he sung he got choked up and almost couldnt finish and then his friend on stage wrapped his arm arround him and he was able to finish the story i like to hide my emotions in public but i looked around in the room and saw literally everybody had tears rolling and i couldnt hold mine either it was a special moment
