YES,, another goal more accomplished. now you can see how difficult this race was a lot more distance a lot more obstacles. You are looking for them more and more difficult and that recognizes that you throw away the courage and training to face obstacles. I congratulate you with all my heart and I always send you my blessing.
mY bROTHER. tHANKS FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO. I did my first ever race...5 k tough mudder with my company this weekend in poconos. I can say with certainty i could do the ultra. I intend to do it in april in Vernon, NJ where i live. At 50 years old the 5 k mudder was extremely fun, and surprisingly easy. with a little traiing i can do this. Thank you for this indepth look!
oh hel yeah ! no better feeling! it was and has been one of my greatest accomplishments . next up i want to do triathlons but my budget won't allow it 😅
@@neverdonethisb4 hahaha ya that’s why did the Vermont race. It’s the closest by hours. Just so happens to be one of the hardest courses 😂😂 almost 7k elevation gain on a beast. More then double for the ultra.
@@michaelmaldonado9914 I always saw those guys running past me… on their second loop, those people are wild men and women. Very honorable what they are able to achieve.
oh geez, i don't even want to remember but it was like 12 hours. in my experience, note: some of the most painful moments will come after the race, not during but it's worth it saying you finished it haha
wow this looks tough! I just ran my 1st beast in Granbury (Dallas) and I must say it was the hardest obstacle course ever! (besides my 1st race which was a tough mudder classic). Later I found out I actually had a low grade fever too so another obstacle I had to overcome!
just a generic water bag, and then i snuuck in there like 5 snacks plus w/e they had in the course which isn't much but i made it work,.. good luck , make sure to work your way there doing other smaller races even if it's on your own .
I did race a few races before this one, I worked my way up with a 5k, 5k obstacle course race (ocr) 10k, 10k ocr 15k ocr Half marathon, 21k ocr , full marathon, and then this one I made sure i completed each one below jumping to the next one
@@JT-oc2dn that wasn’t my case so i won’t ever know. Like i mentioned earlier i worked my way up starting with smaller races. Making sure that i know im capable of doing more on the next one. 💪 I’ve heard a few stories of some that jump for too much too fast and don’t finish. Stay strong 🧠
hey yea i started doing crrossfit in september, did my first 5k in october , my goal was to do a marathon but ended up doing an extra mile ( well maybe a few more miles with obstacles) haha now i'm just training for triathlons, i'd like to do an Ironman but that's a little out of my budget at the moment. thank you🙏

Great job! I hung my purple 2022 Ultra vest on the fireplace mantle, like a piece of armor. No better feeling after finishing! 👊👊👊

Great work what an achievement
thank you , i truly appreciate it.
it truly is an unique experience
it took me 3 attempts to finish Tahoe ultra. when complete, best feeling ever.
totally agree, the feeling of accomplishment is underrated . and im glad to hear that the first to attempts didn't stop you to fulfill your goal.
Fayetteville Ultra was my first one. Did an Ultrafecta weekend. Congratulations
Congrats
I need to actually test my endurance out on one of these flatter courses. I always do the Vermont beast… it’s gnarly.
i honestly didn't even research the altitude on the courses, i just did that one because the location was convenient lol 😆

Great job the spartan ultra is no joke well done very difficult
Seriously, i was aiming for like 8-9 hours. But With the rain and muddy terrain 12 hours was 😵💫
@@JT-oc2dn realistically yes there's stopping, jogging and walking. at you own pace kind of thing.
How long did it take you, roughly?

@@danielnigra1922 yes definitely before the 50 K I did a 21K a marathon a half marathon a 15 K and so on

🙏 thanks and pretty challenging, not only physically but mentally as well

Which course was this?
This was the 50k in Lafayette, NC in 2022
@@neverdonethisb4 thanks
What was your time?
Like 12 hours
Nice
Did you finish the Olympus obstacle?
Also congrats on finishing 🎉
I did all of them the first try. But the second time around, not all of them.
So, I’d say to just walk the whole course and save your energy for the obstacles.
people fight their battles in different ways, some want the easy route others don't...
I have one coming up August in Hawaii. Totally not ready for it. But hopefully 3 1/2 months with good training to prepare for it.
