A delightful story with a familiar theme. Very attractive Ml and Fl with great chemistry. I admired that the Ml and Fl were slowly falling in love with each other, but respected and keep their distance to be faithful to their spouses, not knowing they were married to each other. I loved little AnAn who always carried his black card, wanted to be a boss, had excellent fighting skills and was actually a mini version of his father. I liked how Gu Xiulin loved and protected Ruan Jing and how she trusted him to come to her aide. So glad that in the end the attempts by others to keep them apart. was unsuccesssful and they became a happy family. A great watcg!

Women don't have male friends, right? WRONG!!! This is one of the issues in these C-dramas. A man _can_ also be a friend.
As a woman, the majority of my friends are men. They are more straight forward, not as much BS (and I have more interests/hobbies in common with them) whereas with women, there tend to be a lot of backstabbing (personal experience). I have a few very close female friends who I can trust with all my being. I generally feel that a lot of women at gatherings is like being at a chicken coop: cackling, clucking and gossip.
I just finished it and I totally loved it. ML is so handsome and charming and FL is beautiful. They look good together and made the gradual process of "falling in love" so believable. I loved the soft sensual kissing at the end and his obvious desire for his wife. A very heart-warming and sweet story.
The little boy was amazing. His own voice saying his lines in a quite natural way. He's a little cutie pie ❤

Our experiences are different - I love my male friends but generally when a lot of them get together it becomes trivial and superficial- which is fine as far as it goes. I haven't met many women who gossip or cackle so I can't speak to that. All that I can say is that the majority of the women I know and meet are kind, intelligent and funny and I'm sorry that your experience is different.
When the ML so easily and elegantly fights off the 3 evildoers in the field, we get a sense of where the cute and capable little boy gets this same talent. It's a subtle hint, but very fitting. ML is very handsome and elegantly masculine. This was a quite satisfying romantic drama. Evil people got caught and punished. Lovely deserving people got full happiness.

Love this drama ! The charisma between the ml & fl is lovely and the way fl and the young child are together is so gentle and loving. The sneaky men & women are dealt with firmly and fairly. Dr Dun is great doctor. A great drama, highly recommended. 1:17 still have some way to go with watching this awesome production. Well done cast, crew and scriptwriters you are all a few of the best! ❤❤❤

I still don't agree with the cheating; her commitment to her vows shouldn't be dependent on his behaviour. But it still shows him in a bad light, because even though he didn't respect her, she was honorable.
