You locs are Beautiful. A lovely head full of hair. I am going to get locs, but will have to add hair for it to be full., but will try those oils to grow, it will never be thick like yours. Beautiful!
Hey! I know that you suffer from dry scalp ..but did you always use oils in your scalp, like at the BEGINNING of your journey or did you gradually start incorporating oils into your regimen after your locs matured? Your locs are beautiful and lush looking btw, thanks for this video ❤❤❤
Mamah you are sooo pretty and your locs are gorgeous. I'm only 3.5 months into my locs, and I hope mine turn out like yours. Our locs are about the same size, but mine are so so fuzzy and bend every which way haha. You are beautiful and your hair is beautiful. Goals!
You take such good care of your locs I wish I would’ve never colored mine. I got insecure with the lint. Now my hair is so dry. I wish it looked like yours
I have been loc'd for 4 yrs now so i use a combo of sufur 8 and virgin hair fertilizer to grease my scalp i suffer from dry scalp discovered this is the only thing that works for my scalp and i use niathelocgod hydration mist to moisturize my hair daily
I know how you feel ppl don't understand how serious the sensitive scalp game is we can't just be putting anything on our scalp and once we find something that works we are happy 🙂
I could just sit and admire your lovely locs for a "looong" time. They are so beautiful! I moisturize with rose water and "Elaine Essentials" oil 2 -3 times weekly. It helps keep my hair soft and looking healthy.
Thank you for this video, it's really timely because my locs have been looking really thirsty lately - I don't know if it's because of the color or just thirst. I'll try this and go from there
Hello! For starters, your locs are GORGEOUS! I just recently subscribed to your channel and was desperately looking for a video just like this one. Thank you so much! Do you purchase your oils from a beauty supply store or are they ordered?
I moisturize my locs by dissolving some of the sister locks moisture treatment in a 360 sprayer bottle with distilled water, I add jojoba oil and vitamin e to the mixture. To moisturize my scalp I use blueberry seed extract oil, vitamin e, jojoba oil and peppermint oil. This keeps my locks very moisturized
Loving it !!! 😍👍🏾 That blueberry seed extract got me like 😅🤔 i’m gonna have to look into that that’s very interesting I’m intrigued in the peppermint for some reason it irritates my scalp the tea tree oil doesn’t but the peppermint does it’s really weird
@@DrkNlvely I order the blueberry seed extract from a seller on Etsy. I mix that with either the sweet almond and vitamin e oil along with the peppermint oil. It funny that you say you can’t use the peppermint. My scalp always reacts and gets irritated when I use tea tree oil.
Hi, thanks alot for sharing I your routine. I'm definitely going to do this. I had a quick question, what's the ratio of the oil? I'm going to buy those oils. Right now I use an oil blend that I bought from a beauty supply but it's really thick. I want something lighter. I also have a spray bottle with water and oil. I need to spray more hair more often during the week.
Sis, because I like the smell 😂😂😂😂 that’s it and you know tea tree oil has a very strong smell and the lemon grass overpowers it so that’s another reason I like it
Sis it’s whatever your heart desires I don’t always put the same amount of jojoba oil I don’t always put the same amount lemon grass sometimes I don’t put enough tea tree oil I’m not really good with measurements but I always put more lemongrass than Tea tree because I don’t want the Teatree smell to overpower the lemongrass
Have you tried doing a ACV rinse? When I would get buildup on my temple locks I would take equal parts of ACV and water couple of drops of Teatree oil and I would saturate those locks and literally work in the ACV and just focusing on that build up to break it up I’ve heard other people use Dawn soap that didn’t really work for me the ACV did help
Love to see you use water and oils on your Sisterlocks! I definitely can’t subscribe to the no oil, no moisture rule. Your locs are so beautiful.
I love the density of your hair 😍
Thank you for this video. I'm still trying to figure out the best moisturizing routine for my locs.

I’ve literally have used oil since my first full month of being loc’d and it’s always been jojoba oil
your hair is so gorgeous, it's my first time watching.
Thank you 😊 I hope you stick around 💕

I feel like you answered this in an old video, but would you ever consider retightening your own locs?

Thanks for this video!! I think my scalp has been a tad bit dryer than usual ever since I dyed it
Your locs are GORGEOUS!! I'm planning to start a loc journey soon. How long have you had your locs for?
how often do you wash? it feels like my hair was at its best when i did it every 2 wks but i've been slippin lol
I do as needed but that’s depending on my scalp so it’s either every week and a half or every two weeks
Where can I find these oils for my hair? I’m new to this. I’m 2 mos into my new locs

Your hair is beautiful! How many locs do you have?
Thankyou for this video... I really needed it..
Your locs are beautiful. Love jojoba, but I’m one of those people whose hair feels like straw if I use coconut oil.
What's the ratio of water to lemongrass for the shaft? And ratio of oils for the scalp?
Your locs are beautiful.
Good job! I don’t have the patience!
I do use the Jamaican black castor oil on my scalp. Think I will start moisturizing my locks as well. Thanks.
And the JBCO works for you on your scalp?
Yes, it does. I sometimes mix it with Tea Tree.
New subbie ,love your hair🥰
what are the benefits of lemongrass oil? just wondering if you only chose it because it's light on your locs?
Sis, because I like the smell 😂😂😂😂 that’s it and you know tea tree oil has a very strong smell and the lemon grass overpowers it so that’s another reason I like it
How many parts do you mix the lemongrass, tea tree and jojoba oil mix in the spray bottle? 5 drops, 10 drops ??? Thanks
How do I deal with build up on my edges..

Hello, all the oils mentioned are essential oils?
The jojoba oil is my base oil and then I add the lemon grass and the tea tree
They look good 👍😊
Thank you.
