Yea no. An iPhone camera can’t pick up IR light as it isn’t on the visible light spectrum so therefor you can only use night vision/infrared light measurements to see IR.
It’s not fake, it’s just extremely unconvenient. You can see the IR light from the remote only from a close proximity and when it’s aimed exactly towards the camera. It’s similar to the camera lights, you just won’t notice it on you phone’s camera. In Japan women have specialized tools to look for secret cameras in public bathrooms, because it’s very common there to come across stuff like that.
But why not show us on the actual spy device? Why show us ona remote? Also why not show us hire it actually looks on the camera/phone screen by screen recording?
