You sound similar to what I sounded in January this year. Still feel the same. You're not alone.
I figured that this dilemma (feeling of something missing) is often because our work often doesn't align with our personality.
It leads to us not knowing our focus, or we having too many points of focus; which often are totally unrelated.
I still don't have my own answers, but believe the beauty lies in finding them.
