In Japan, everyone is keeping the world clean for other people. The "respect" for their work is amazing, they really try to give their best every single day. It`s sad to see how ruthless people have become in Germany / Austria... No one wants to work hard and make society as a whole better.. Everyone is just taking care of himself, many are throwing their trash just on the floor / out of the windows of a car for example... Very luxurios train, and very interesting video. Thank you.

Besides Hinotori and obviously Shinkansen lines, I'd like to go onto Sunrise Express too. So many things to see and experience. The images of your trip are visually exciting, like paintings. I get different reactions for each one but the overall excitement is always there. I enjoy the coming and goings of trains, curious about the paths they took and the sights they saw. The front seat was wonderful, you could see in all directions, even above. I feel you would be well rested in that seat, did you sleep at all?? Did you feel the time on the train passed quickly? It is like going into another world. I thought it was a beautiful trip. Hi Anna. I hope you had a good weekend. This is a really nice train to travel on especially the comfy seat. You got lucky in nabbing the solo front seat. Good views on the journey too. I really want to try out the lovely Hinotori bento you bought but I'm not going anywhere near Osaka or Nagoya on my trip in April. I wonder if it is sold in Ekibenya, Tokyo? Probably not but I'll go and have a look. Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your week.

Not been to Japan for 10 years now! Nagoya was my "base" though - We stayed in the Marriott last time - directly above the station and it was so easy to get the Shinkansen to other stations. I never tried the Hinotori though - but it looks amazing. The price difference from Standard to Premium if like £5 (Sterling). so seems an obvious choice for me :)
Lovely train & sites, thank you for sharing this. You say "more time", but just how long did it really take? Seems well worth it for a premium seat on a longer ride, but their Standard looks very nice & comfy, too. Indeed enjoying the journey & delicious bento can be better than zooming to a destination! So glad there are so many travel options & you try to show us all of them! Thank you!
I've seen Hinotori on some other channels that are more train specific, but it looks like an amazing ride. Especially if you can get that front seat like you did. Really want to do it myself someday.

What happened if I buy a ticket from Osaka to Nagoya and I come across an interesting station along the way and I want to get off and walk around and then take the next train? Do I need to buy a new ticket or somehow inform? After all, seats in the green car are reserved.
Interesting journey by train. I like trains way more than buses or even planes. But am just curious to know Where people in Japan go usually after they reach destination? To their relatives house? to their siblings or hotel? In Ethiopia people usually stay in their relatives houses if it is for a short time like a couple of weeks.

Ahhh :/ then you have to take another train! I don't think you can get this bento in Tokyo because the train company is different.

I think I mentioned...? but with this, it takes 2 hours while 1 hour with a shinakansen :)

You have to buy another ticket once you go out the ticket machine. It's better to buy a ticket for short distance and another one till Nagoya/Osaka.
