I am currently a barista but am not getting paid well. I am looking at coffee shops in my area and trying to decide how to sell myself. I love my job and would like to continue to assist my community with high quality drinks.
I am usually a slow and meticulous person, but with the help of my supervisor I am now a lot faster at making coffee with good quality. So, just because you start off slow doesn’t mean you will always be slow.

As someone who had worked for Ryd for over 4 years and 2 cafes, I agree to ALL of this.
Great video and great advice for anyone wanting to get involved.
The one thing I miss most about working within the industry is definitely the connection to the customers. I made some really strong connections through my time on the machine and I really do miss those friendships.
Connection and enthusiasm will win anyone a job, every time!
