I just finished making my first sheath and wanted to say thanks for making such an incredibly informative video. There's so much information around, and so many videos, this boils it all down and explains it so clearly it was like having somebody who knows what they're doing standing over my shoulder the whole way through. Mine didn't come out perfectly, obviously, but it's a hundred times better than it would've been if I'd just try to have a go based on all the different videos/forum posts/blogs etc that I've looked at. Thanks a million, Ian.

I've been a long time subscriber and have to credit you completely for my own leatherworking skills, so thank you. I'm glad you're still doing videos in this format (longer w/ voiceover). Stunning. A great sheath makes a world of difference when using a knife. As a Bushcrafter I like to have my knife available and secure. A good wet form makes the difference. I however prefer a dangler then a belt fit. As a wheelchair user I’m sitting all the time so having my knife hang by my side is best. Great making video. Oh one thing I thing would be good for people to know is about moisture. A water drain hole in the sheath makes keeping your knife in good condition.

Thanks for this video, I watched it and made a list of the steps and tools, ordered what I needed, and made my first sheath in 4 hours, turned out great. I will pass this video along.
