its crazy how most webtoon creators work out the details of their story in a couple months to a year but here i am after over 2 years and only NOW am i working out the chapter-to-chapter, nitty gritty details ;__; (tbf, its a worldbuilding heavy story with a whole magic system to boot and takes place over the course of 3 years and two whole realms and good god theres a lot of characters!!) 2nd update: i deleted the first update cuz i came a long way since i commented this BUT HOLY SHIT A LOT OF YOU GUYS REALLY LIKED THIS COMMENT WTF here to let yall know i am still alive and have decided to drop my previous webtoon as it rlly was not working for me. I feel like since i fucked up w the beginning development it was keeping me stuck for like 3 years. Plus the concept of it doesnt appeal to me and my tastes now as im a different person from the one that first brainstormed my beloved idea and thats okay! Im still making a webcomic but its way different from the other and is something i feel much better suited to write now for my first comic, plus working much more efficiently so hopefully i'll have some solid concepts by the end of this year! Thx for all the replies and encouragement ❤❤
yeah, it's definitely different depending on person and story 😭 a couple years ago, i had an idea for a webcomic that had a ton of worldbuilding and i got so burnt out working it out that i abandoned it hahaha now, i know that for me (my work ethic), i can't spend too long in preproduction, or else it'll go stale. all the kudos to people who can spend so long working on one thing, i really admire you!

I personally think art style is the biggest key to getting success as a comic artist. Yours fits perfectly into the casual yet pretty webcomic aesthetic. It’s airy and yet grounded.
Stand Still Sat Silent will always be the benchmark I compare folks comics too. It’s not as ridiculous as Kill 6Billion, but it’s also extremely stylized and filled with atmosphere

I mean “working for webtoon” doesn’t get you much in the way of choosing what gets popular. Editors work for webtoon and they don’t have much sway over any decision making that isn’t restricted to the content of whatever comic they’re working on. A social media manager would be considered working for Webtoons, but I can’t imagine them having much sway over anything involving comic popularity. Unless their friend is a CEO or someone with actual…yknow…*stakes* in the company, them simply working there wouldn’t automatically do anything. There was really no need for the passive aggressive bs.

Well, from what i read so far, you can use tagalog in ur future webtoon! Though, you may need to translate it into english to get more people to read it.
