I’ve won the Spector races at New Smyrna twice in my red ‘98 Z28 and the most fun and best part was the 5 lap shootout finally at the end!!! Total bullshit and boring as hell watching just the drag portion! If they are going to do away with the shootout, they should at least make the drag racing 2 laps, and 3-5 laps for the final two! Any idiot can make it around that joint for one lap, but to do it with ever increasing hot tires and hot and fading brakes for 5 laps, that shows skill and is fun and entertaining !!! I’m putting my car back together and I will be back, I just hope they change the format back to what it was!!!
I agree with you. Lots of people aren't happy about the change - the multiple car finale made New Smyrna Spectator Races unique in my opinion. Hope they change it back or come up with something else unique. Look forward to seeing you and your car on the track soon. Much appreciated Team G

Definitely some fast mustangs in the world but I've never come across any!!! Mustangs have only been fast in recent history!!! Mustangs started getting fast in the early 00s with the terminator cobra!!! Anything before then is just a complete joke!!!!
