It's not about uppercutting them. But it is about holding them to task and asking more than gimme questions about a scandal where something was clearly wrong. If you want to make it a CGC commercial, hey, that's okay. But don't act like it's much of a reaction to a scandal. Making inroads with the company is understandable as a TH-cam page. But this interview was a bunch of 'we can't talk about this.' A lot of hot air. A lot of 'we're investigating ourselves.' Expected to a certain degree. But it also shows a lot of what is just completely wrong with CGC and the comic industry.
Just sent in 7 more books and 2 subs coming back to me. At this point I'm not worried about the scam. It sucks and I'm sure they put preventative measures in place now.
I overreacted to the news, criticizing CGC on their initial delay. But I give Matt credit for doing a long-form interview. I listened while doing work but I thought the questions were fair. His answers were reasonable. Always do the interview. You're more likely to win people over with sincerity than avoiding conflict.
