The jest was in how they went about it, for a solid 10 minutes basically re saying the same thing with each person's turn, and of course me not saying anything even though he asked me initially. Takash1 here, It was me telling JC that I was going through a really tough time. I spent a minute talking about it. Basically everyone BUT JC gave me some advice. Really wanted to say "Hey guys I asked JC," but I thought it would be rude.
There will pretty much no longer be any Discord Adventures. This message will pretty much be for the people subscribed to JC, but are not on his discord. I am in JC's server still and I actually am the one under the handle 'Kinzler' and 'Evan K.' in this video. One major thing is the whole thing about how burnt out JC became with the Discord Adventures back in Late 2021. He goes into detail about his thoughts and basically gives a channel and personal thoughts update called , "Why I let My Channel Die." Back when the Discord Adventures were around, there originally were so many random people that were on the server that would only interact when JC would make an announcement that he was gonna be in VC's again. Which was the complete antithesis of what JC wanted the server to be. He wanted the server to be a place that would be an outlet of communication. It sadly didnt become that. There was a problem revolving around the term "Greenie" as well. When you would first join the server you get a role called 'The Casters' which has a green color to it. People that interacted more and spent more time in the server would eventually gatekeep said server and either disregard, mock, tease, or even insult newcomers ot the server that were just trying to talk. If you didnt have a light purple name where you were subbed to JC on Twitch, a dark purple one where you were in his VIP circle, or any color signifying a higher level in the server (cause a level/rank/XP-building bot was also a feature of the server), you would basically be mocked and be treated as a nuisance. There were some sour and rotten spots that sadly began to spread more more until it spiraled out of control. In August of 2022, Word eventually spread that JC and the Mods made the decision to archive the server and turn off all text channels. Action was eventually taken on September 1st, and all text channels have been completely removed. They're still around altogether, but no one is able to send anything in them. As of writing this comment...Sadly, no one goes into any of the VC's in the server anymore. No one even texts in the VIP chat that much anymore either which by the way remained on for the members in JC's VIP circle. Like 1-3 messages within the span of a few days... and that is MUCH less traction and interaction than a year ago. I first joined not only JC's but got into Discord altogether in April 2021, and it was some of the best time of my life. When I started out in the server, I made a bunch of fan-made thumbnails for JC! He actually showed them on his stream one time and I was SO FREAKIN ECSTATIC when I saw those. He even hired me to make him thumbnails for the future but no thumbnails I made were featured and nothing really blossomed from that. I have made so much amazing memories on that server I even met who is now my boyfriend on it! We both have been together for 5 months now and we couldnt be happier! He constantly says, "Who woulda thought that we would meet just from a random discord server." JC's server has helped me and my mental health a lot because it gave me an outlet to talk to people altogether, and the people I met were 100% genuine! Many of which I still have contact with to this day. Currently though, some have moved away and are going about their seperate paths. JC, if you are reading this, you were probably one of my biggest influences on the internet. I really really hope this server opens back up again sometime in the future. This server has probably been the best server I have ever been in, and I will never forget my time in the server. It's still archived to this day.
