    Exactly what I was hoping to start seeing Brad. Trail head with its modules gives some insight, but it’s the day to day work and taskings from different types of employers in somewhat similar but different settings I think that can open our eyes to not only what we might possibly expect but to also show us things we probably never thought of. Being prepared and constantly learning never hurt anyone. I think it’s great.

    Great idea! I can't wait to see the rest of this series. I work with SF everyday as a user in my current job, and I'm currently in week 3 of the SFCDP. Some real world use cases will be extremely helpful.

      Absolutely! I'm looking forward to it! It's hard to pull the content together and of course keep client confidentiality but when it's done I love the end product and the value it brings!

      Thank you so much for the kind words. I try to put myself in your shoes, and working with 100s of members allows me a clear insight into what it is new Salesforce professionals struggle with. I also have insight into what employers are looking for. So in tools like the free 5 day challenge I do my best to show beginners what they need to know to feel confident while making them look great for employers at the same time! It how we get our members jobs day in and day out!

    This is a really excellent overview of real world day-to-day types of tasks for those supporting Salesforce in any capacity and it is coming from an excellent source. There are tasks around ten topics. You don't have to be a master in every one of them if you are just starting out in Salesforce. It is great to have in mind as you go through your training. Good Luck.

      Yes I agree! It will give people considering a Salesforce career a clearer picture of some examples of what it's like. It will also help individuals really working to land their first job to see how Trailhead concepts come to life in reality!

    Good introductory video. I've had both Salesforce and Trailhead bookmarked for a while but it was only until last week, I decided to take a closer look at them. I'm in the research phase now--hence why I'm watching videos like yours as well as reading whatever i can--to see if this is the direction I want to take. I look forward to watching the rest of this series as well as other informative videos on your channel.

    Hey man, thanks for this content! I was wonder start salesforce, it's a good idea at 2024?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We post our program statistics every month on the Talent Stacker LinkedIn Page. I'd recommend keeping an eye out there. The market is tighter in 2023 and 2024 than it as been since 2020 however we are seeing more success with jobs being landed with our members than ever before. I believe this is because those that stay focused right now are landing all of the jobs while others are looking around wondering what to do.

    • @marcosmarcal7200
      @marcosmarcal7200 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @SalesforceForEveryone But you know why this is happening? It's about IA or something like that?
      Thanks for the answer!

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@marcosmarcal7200 Oh no, nothing to do with AI, AI has been a bust compared to what people expected at this point. It's mainly with super high interest rates, companies can't invest as much to expand right now. Consumers and companies are pinched for cash and have to make smarter choices with their hiring.

    Hi Bradley, How does an Admin/Analyst be able to move up as a Salesforce Solution Architect?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      A Solution Architect is commonly what consulting companies call their Administrators.
      It truly just comes with experience. You'll need to understand how to write Salesforce design documents and turn requirements into scalable solutions. Being an SA is about understanding how to leverage Salesforce to solve random business requirements.
      Bottom line is you need to work and challenge yourself for a solid year or two.

    What kind of laptop I should have for learning SF Admin?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really anything works, just don't get a Chromebook as it doesn't meet the requirements to take the certification exam. Honestly though any cheap computer will do if your on a budget. You just need internet and you're good to go!

    Hi Brad. I've been watching a few of your videos which they are relly helpfull. I just wanted to ask you one question. I've started learning Salesforce i couple of months back to start a carreer on it. I don't have prior experience on IT or any similar position as i come for a different area (mainly Supply Chain Management). My goal is to be a Salesforce Developer, but i was told to start with Salesforce Admin, which is quicker as i don´t necesarilly need to learn coding. At the moment i am follonwing the trailhead path for Admin Certification. do you recommend any of your videos for me to watch at this point prior to this series of videos? thanks. Joaquín.

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, thanks for your support and questions! I would highly recommend that you go ahead and grab the free resources at TalentStacker.com/ in the free resources tab.
      Also I think it would be a great idea to listen to the Salesforce For Everyone podcast! Especially the first date episodes are going to walk you through everything you need to know to land a Salesforce job.
      Lastly I just wanted to comment that I would agree that unless you come from a strong technical or coding background I would highly recommend starting with the administrator certification and looking for entry-level jobs as an analyst, administrator or junior consultant. That's going to make the transition much easier for you and reduce the chance of burnout.

    Probably unrelated, but do I need to get a salesforce admin certification ON TOP of getting a marketing cloud certification if I want to be in that field?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to land a marketing cloud job then I would say you really just need the marketing specialist certification. If you want to land a salesforce job then you won't need any marketing certifications. I hope that answers your question!
