This series is gold! The stuff you don't learn in Trailhead. Incredible information to help prepare me for a Salesforce Administrator position. Thanks, Brad! You're very generous and helping a whole lotta people.

This is great insight! Looking for a career change that will utilize the knowledge I have already and I think this may be it! Just started your five day challenge, def excited to see it through!
This is more about communication. You would want to start by responding and letting the client know you have received the email and you will be evaluating each item and will respond with any questions. I would then find the items that are quick and easy and complete that day. I would then respond letting the client know that I had completed these items and I'm still working on the others. From there you just want to give a daily update but I would say within 3 days all should be complete. This depends heavily on your relationship with the client. You can always ask the client how quickly they need these completed.
Great! Make sure to checkout the newest video! We are about to release an entire series on real world requests! th-cam.com/video/kdrQKHWC1XM/w-d-xo.html

Hey Bradley, what are you’re thoughts on health cloud? Do you have a video on that? I’m interested in understanding the career prospects and how one would fit that into their pathway of interested in healthcare
If I were just jumping into Salesforce I would focus on Sales Cloud and your Admin exam first. Health Cloud is more of a specialty, you'll want to have a baseline understanding of Salesforce prior to focusing on a specialty.
I wouldn't say you need to be good at math. You do need to understand what the formula does of course. I would also say be open minded to the idea that you might actually be perfectly fine with math but you've been told, or told yourself that you're not good at it just because of some limiting experience with an outdated learning process or an environment that didn't enable you to learn in a way that aligned with you. Either way, you absolutely have the ability to learn and you will do just fine with formulas. Plus with the help of ChatGPT the Salesforce community groups etc... you'll always be a chat forum or GPT chat away from all the help you need.
"Do you know how I can get that ad on" Bradley, imagine hearing this video while doing something else. I'm sure you'll get the joke. That's what just happened to me. By the way, well done for the awesome content.
Hello, I’m still new to Salesforce & hope to pass my admin test soon. I was wondering, how quick do you have to solve these issues? I’m a little worried that once I start I’ll take too long to solve someone’s issue and get fired😅

Actually you can have the same Email Address but you must have a unique Username. These can be different. Especially with Contractors and Consultants who work for multiple clients they often use the same Email Address with each clients org, however a different Username is needed. I hope that makes sense.
thank you for this video, from what I’ve gathered from this video.. most of the communication done is through email? I’m looking for a field where I work on the back end, I love data entry. I don’t want to do customer service over the phone at all... how likely will I need to call anyone?
It really depends on the company but keep in mind you aren't supporting customers you are supporting internal employees. The likelihood of being on phone calls is pretty small, you might need to do a screenshare to show an employee how to use a specific function. Overall though it's going to be mainly emails and of course the occasional meeting throughout the day.

Looking into getting certified and watching video it seems very complicated and intimidating to learn. Is it as complicated as it sounds? Seems like there are so many things you need to know just to make the change they are requesting.
If you are brand new to the space then yes the may seem like a lot which can be intimidating. It's one step at a time. These are requests I received from a company that hired me having 6 years of experience, but I believe this represent fair entry level issues. Now you are going to be able to Google, GPT, ask in forums etc... you aren't expected to know all of this stuff immediately. It comes with time. I can pretty well guarantee your capable, just take it a step at a time 👍
@@SalesforceForEveryone ok thank you for the detailed response. Funny you say that i was actually thinking Hm I wondering if you could type in a prompt to chat gpt or any of those AI programs and they could trouble shoot it for you lol
@@AscndedAssassin Yeah it's not perfect by a long shot but it's getting better. There is actually GPT for Salesforce training specifically on how to be a GPT Specialist in the space lol. Way more than using it as a solution engine but that's for another day 🤣 Bottom line this community is extremely tight and you will find help. Trailhead is super valuable as well for just learning and getting better at your job combined with learning the company processes.
Most people take 150-250 hours. 150 if it clicks well for you and you have a background like yours understanding sales/service process understanding. 250 if you literally have no idea about business processes and consider yourself a bad test taker.
@@BadWeatherfreak That depends on your time commitment. We've seen people do 150 hours in 3 weeks that are unemployed. A single parent with a full time job often can only do 5-10 hours a week so that might take 40 weeks or ~10months if you only study 5 hours a week. If you study say 15 hours a week and it you take 15 hours then that's about 2.5 months. Taking 8 months would mean you struggled and put in very few hours per week.
Sorry for the delayed response. It varies greatly depending on the request as well as your comfort level with Salesforce and your familiarity with the org you're working in.

Yeah absolutely! But most employers who are looking to hire you won't take you overly seriously if you don't have a certification. It's really the first obstacle that proves to yourself and to your potential employer that you're willing to put an effort for the job.
Hi, Is there any way where we can replace user from everywhere at one time? like - lead assignment, case assigned, approval matrix, email alert, dashboards running user & etc. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. ~kk

@@SalesforceForEveryone ok thank you it feels a lot more manageable with your response
thank u sir
Absolutely!
How long should take to become admin certified with no IT background but having customer service and sales experience?
Most people take 150-250 hours. 150 if it clicks well for you and you have a background like yours understanding sales/service process understanding. 250 if you literally have no idea about business processes and consider yourself a bad test taker.
@@SalesforceForEveryone so basically like 8 months.
@@SalesforceForEveryone mu goals is ti be certified In 4 months.
@@BadWeatherfreak excellent so simple math says that's about 16 weeks. If you can do it in 160 hours that's 10 hours a week 👌
iam looking for Admin job in canada this was very helpfull, need help with admin mock interview videos pleasseeeee
We just messaged on Facebook! I'll get you all of the info there!
@@SalesforceForEveryone perfect got it thanks for quick response
How long does it take you to resolve those “issues”? I’m trying to imagine the days workflow. Thank you for this video!
Sorry for the delayed response. It varies greatly depending on the request as well as your comfort level with Salesforce and your familiarity with the org you're working in.
Should I pay for the course?$2400
Offering what course??? If you're talking about PathStream that's an absolute scam. If you're looking for a certification just do the free 5 day Salesforce challenge at www.talentstacker.com/salesforce

Can you consider yourself to be a Salesforce Admin without taking the 'Salesforce Certified Administrator' exam?
Yeah absolutely! But most employers who are looking to hire you won't take you overly seriously if you don't have a certification. It's really the first obstacle that proves to yourself and to your potential employer that you're willing to put an effort for the job.
@@SalesforceForEveryone Thanks so much for the quick response!
Hi,
Is there any way where we can replace user from everywhere at one time? like - lead assignment, case assigned, approval matrix, email alert, dashboards running user & etc.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks. ~kk
That's a great question and it sounds pretty awesome! I haven't heard of that but what I can tell you is if it's a thing I would expect it is a paid app.
What is your salary right now
I'm self employed now and own 3 separate businesses so it's not relevant to these roles specifically. I finished my mainstream Salesforce role making $225k working 25 hours a week 👍 Not the norm, but it's my continued goal to help others achieve their version of career success.
Say no more im getting certified
Now we're talking!
