This was such an amazing review!! Thank you to both for the in depth review and loved your personalities, your passion for homeschooling and love for your children shines through ❤️
We're doing another trip around the world over here. I'm modifying it a bit, but I'm following BYL and adding TL here and there. We're also doing the B&R space science because of you guys. Thank you! My girls are loving it!
Onky found your channel a week or so a go and loving it. Our daughters are 8 months and 20 months. This is exactly the type of homeschooling I hope to do with them. So glad I can follow your journey.
Glad you found us too! I love how early you're starting. :) We were the same way. Once our daughter was past toddler age we were itching to plan our homeschooling adventures! Hope your journey is a terrific one!
Thank you for sharing this! I’ve watched several of your videos over the past few days. My 4 year old has taken a massive interest in world geography because of a leapfrog magic adventure globe toy I got him for his 3rd birthday, so I’m trying to follow his lead on this one. Of all the videos on YT about these curricula, yours has been the most helpful to me! Thanks :)
So glad you guys are going to do B&R with BYL prehistory. That has been my plan and would love to learn what works and what doesn’t first. My family has benefited from your resources as we do BYL Level 0. I am getting spoiled and don’t know what I will do when/if your curriculum path deviates from mine 😉
Thank you! I'm so glad I found this since I'm starting BYL0/TLK in a couple of months. I haven't had a chance to watch all of your videos yet so maybe you already discussed this, but did you ever look at Beautiful Feet Around the World or use any of its book list? Was there a reason for picking BYL/Torchlight over Beautiful Feet?
We finished BYL0 with a sprinkle of Torchlight K last school year. I also plan to do it again with my younger child in 2 years. When you do it again, are you planning to do level 0 with the level your older daughter is on also? Side note- my daughter loved Mali and Keela. We read through it twice.
We are planning to do level 0 again with our older daughter. We'll most likely add in a few more advanced books and we'll have her complete the Torchlight Trek articles. Funny about Mali and Keela. It's so interesting how books hit us differently. A book we hated someone else loves and vice versa! Another reason to love homeschooling, we don't have to stick with a book our learners aren't into, the way we would in a public or private school setting. Yay for choices!

Thank you so much! Glad it was helpful! We'll be doing more reviews in the future for TH-cam so stay tuned!

Thanks for the kind words! We're so happy these videos are helpful!
Incredibly helpful- thank you so much!
I really enjoyed these videos, and I do think I saw them all. Or almost all of them at least😊.
Thanks for sticking with us!

We hadn't looked at Beautiful Feet at all when we started this. Thanks for mentioning. It's on my list to research!
If you don't want to buy Torchlight just for the book list, they do list all the books on the website.
