Pichi Richi Double Header 6 Jun 2015.

The morning is cold, the wet steam rises to shroud the engine in the still morning air, the beast awakens, this is what lovers of steam enjoy most. At the rail station at Port Augusta we see W22, ‘Justin Hancock’ shunting carriages, assembling the ‘Afghan Express’ for the run to Wool-Shed Flat. She will join the N25 class lead ‘Pichi Richi Explorer’ for their Double Header run to Quorn. Much more is to be seen of the shunting this year.

Yes it was slow have a look at Pichi Richi Double Header 5 Oct 2013 it was a bit faster that day.
