I own 9 saws and build/ fix/ mod them for people. Although the 440 is a homeowner grade saw it's still a husky. The one tree service company I used to work for had one and it wasn't horrible. I own a 346xp which is a great saw with the awesome magnesium case that husky doesn't make any more unfortunately, and of course the badass 372xp. Both big bores w/ meteor pistons and Caber rings, ported, muff mod, timing advance, etc. My other 7 saws are all stihl pro saws from the 026 all the way to the 880mag. I'd recommend modding your mufflers dude. Makes a huge difference on cut times alone not to mention the sound. Just readjust your carb after. What a score though man. Free husky that was near brand new in a 'power box' is a rare thing to find on the side of the road! Whoever used that saw definitely had the chain tight as hell. You could hear it when you fired it lol. 👍👍
+1 on the 372xp! I have an MS 260 as well. Great saws.
That is part of the beauty of low speed travel. Driving, you may have missed that while in traffic etc.

Never. Just got super lucky. I had a feeling it might be in the case as soon as I sell it based on some of the other stuff they had recently thrown out though.
