My wife and I saw her in Nashville. My wife loved Minnie and was ecstatic to see her. After the show Minnie came over to us to say hi. She asked us a few questions and thanked us for coming to see her. Nice lady for sure!
Thank You Jordan for taking me on this trip of her life … never would had known otherwise! She was one of a kind! Many Many Blessings, Jordan & JAH (give him some smooches for me! lol 😘😘)
I was lucky to see Minnie Pearl perform quite a few times when I lived in Nashville. Loved everyone of those. Glad I took the time to do things while I lived there.
Minnie Pearl was a Country icon,I remember her as a child and could never forget her as that tag in her hat made me know who she was,and funny, entertaining, and loved by all fans!Thank you Jordan!
I love Minie Pearl. She always said "Howdy" when she was on Hee Haw. Thank you for telling her story. I hope everyone checks her out. Stay safe and take care.
She is such a great performer. Growing up I had the privilege of seeing her at the Ryman Auditorium. Growing up in the 1960s I would travel to Mississippi to see my grandparents, I would go often to Nashville and the Ryman.
There’s a cancer center at my local hospital (Williamson Medical Center) that she funded, and was named after her (Sarah Cannon). She was a philanthropist and all-around great person, much like Dolly Parton.
I remember watching Minnie Pearl very funny lady. that was an awesome statue of her sitting on a bench plus the one on the side rode. what a lovely home. it's amazing people you vlog from poor to riches or from difficult life to making it, interesting stories. thanks Jordan and Jah and be safe.
Love seeing your co-pilot even if he's busy resting Safe travels and thanks for sharing with us Minnie served her purpose which benefited many Wow what a life
HowDEEE! Watching HeeHaw as a kid brings back a lot of childhood memories. Minnie was one of my favorite entertainers on the show along with Buck Owens and Roy Clark. Who could forget the corn stalks?! Ugh, I'm ageing myself here, ain't I? That's awesome that she's been memorialized like that. Thank you for showing u and bringing back memories.
Thanks Jordan. We all loved Minnie Pearl. My Great Grandmother was name Minnie Bell. My in laws loved Hee Haw and watching The Grand Ole Opry. I bought my Mother in Law DVDs of Hee Haw, I'll share this with her later after supper when she and I will have some quiet time together before she go to bed. She's in her 80s now. She will love this. 👍💯❤🙂👋. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita james.
Hi Jordan, oh, what a great bench with Minnie Pearl, what a lovely happy statue of her. Minnie Pearl was such a great character. I had a smile on my face all through this vlog. Great vlog Jordan.
This was great Jordan. I grew up in Nashville and loved Hee Haw. I received Minnies' autobiography for Christmas back in the mid 80s when it came out, even met Joan Dew the lady that co- wrote the book with her. Minnie came into a store where I worked a few years later, she was laughing and smiling, the type of person that makes you feel good in their presence. I live 10 minutes from My Hope Cemetery, I'll have to pay her a visit. Thanks again Jordan and Jah🙂💕🌞🌼🏵️🌸
Loved the tone in your voice when you stood over the grave(s) and said, "it was a wonderful marriage." Interesting life for sure, Jordan. You're a heck of a lot younger than me, but in the '60's, transcendent of the "country" genre/"country" audiences - Minnie Pearl was a guest personality on many variety shows. Little child (me) on Long Island , New York, watching all that variety television - remembers her with great detail. Minnie Pearl, Jimmy Durante, Louis Armstrong, etc. These were omnipresent figures.. Thanks, as always, for the sweet humanity, Jordan.
You passed my daughters house just before you passed Shin Dig Ranch. They have quite a large Christmas display that is beautiful. You also passed the former home of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on that road. Very interesting to hear Minnie's story. A very funny women and seemed so down to earth. Thank you
💋What a great vlog! Especially in the south we all know who she is. When I was little in the 80’s she was on Hee-Haw and other shows I remember. I have been to the Grand Ole Opera but she was long gone by then. Safe Travels and blessings to you and Jah. ~Love&Light♥️Carli

Jordan I really had a lot fun watching your video today getting to see Minnie Pearl statue, her hometown and final resting place. 🦁 I stayed at the Graduate Hotel in Nashville, TN and at the front desk reception area is a MASSIVE art piece of Minnie Pearl’s famous photo with her 👒 and in the actual rooms are photo’s of Dolly Parton and Minnie Pearl. On the roof top is a Massive head bust of Dolly Parton. Give Jah a belly rub from me. Safe travels.

Thank- you Jordan, enjoyed this tour !! I was on a tour many years ago and we drove by Minnies home when she still lived there. Minnie Pearl such an interesting piece of history !!

What in the world would we have done without Minnie Pearl! What a gem … she was a one woman Trade Mark! Loved Loved her! Bless her sweet heart! Miss you … 🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰
This is really cool! I live just outside of Centerville (still in Hickman Co). My grandfather graduated from high school with her (a class of just a handful of people), and they were very good friends, because they were both interested in things like classic American literature, art, music, and philosophy. I wish I had found your channel before you came, and I could've set up a meeting with our Minnie Pearl historian, who is also her niece. But it looks like you have a good knowledge of her history.
My grandmother grew up “next door” to her, just a few years older. She would almost always tell people that she met that she knew “Minnie Pearl”. My grandma had that same distinct Tennessee voice and disposition!
I just loved Minnie Pearl! I'd watch her on Hee Haw with my mom, when I was a kid. She and Phyllis Diller were the great female comedians of that time.
😃"Punk rock girl, let's go slam dance We'll dress like Minnie Pearl Just you and me, punk rock girl" Whenever I hear the name Minnie Pearl, I always think of the lyrics to Punk Rock Girl by the Dead Milkmen.
This was a good story background of Mini Pearl! Thank you so much for all the info. I always wondered how the price tag would always be on her hats lol. On a side note, the Warren Beaty car is at the Alcatraz East in Pigeon Forge along with the OJ Bronco and Ted Bundy’s Volkswagen . Keep on being you! 🦴🐾❤️
