Arrival Process:
To reach Park Hyatt Maldives, you'll need to take a flight to Velana International Airport in Male, the capital city of Maldives. From there, you'll be greeted by a representative of the resort who will guide you to the lounge or straight to the domestic terminal to get your second flight. You can relax and enjoy some refreshments before boarding a domestic flight to Kooddoo airport. Once you arrive, the resort's speedboat will be waiting to take you to the resort, which is a scenic 30-minute ride away.
The Resort:
Park Hyatt Maldives is a stunning island resort that boasts some of the most luxurious villas in the world. The resort is situated on a private island in the North Huvadhoo Atoll, which is known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. The resort is surrounded by pristine beaches, lush vegetation, and a turquoise lagoon. The resort is the perfect blend of modern and traditional design, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a serene and luxurious atmosphere.
The villas:
The resort has 51 ultra-luxury villas that are either overwater or on the beach. The overwater villas are perched above the lagoon and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. The villas are equipped with all the modern amenities you could possibly need, including air conditioning, high-speed internet, and a flat-screen TV. The villas have a spacious deck with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. Not all of the overwater villas have a pool, though. The beach villas are set amidst the lush vegetation and offer direct access to the beach.
During our stay we had the chance to try a deluxe beach pool villa. First with villa number 4 (which has an obstructed view which is better for privacy) and then villa number 2 which has a totally open view but less privacy.
The service:

Hello :) It can vary a little bit depending on the seasons, but you don't go from a resort that has NO seaweed to tons of seaweed and opposite. Resorts that have no seaweed: Park Hyatt, Anantara Kihavah, Four Seasons Landaa, Amilla,...
Resorts that have a lot of seaweed: Soneva Jani (they are fighting against it but it's out of control for most of the lagoon), Gili Lankanfushi, Como Cocoa in quite a big part of the lagoon, Six Senses Laamu,...
