I would be thrilled to have a cabin like that! It looks sooooooo cozy. I got the impression that for solos going into that particular suite, it's especially spacious, quite welcome on longer cruises. Thanks for the always detailed and fun tour 😃.
Thanks, Jamie! Very helpful. Looks great too Did notice that the shower curtain (which I don't like anyway) was much too short for my liking. Apart from that, seems perfect 😊
Excellent cabin tour, as usual! Very nice features, including the jetted tub, magnetic door holder in the bathroom, and storage. I would say you could certainly stay in that cabin for a world cruise. Nice decor, and who doesn't love some fish art? Certainly nicer than my sheltered balcony on QM 2 !
The cabin looks lovely! Quite enough room to sleep, relax for a while before you go around the ship to do different things & you have the balcony to relax in too. Only thing I’d have a problem with is laundry… if I needed to use that ironing board, I’d be screwed as I’m left handed & there’s no space the other side for us lefty’s 🤣 so I’d have to use the laundry service!
Nothing wrong with this cabin. Liked the multi country plug sockets and the general layout of everything. 'normal' hangers...yay! Have you checked out the inside cabins and if so what did you think? Mike
I have a vlog of all cabins compared on Borealis so they should be identical - the insides on Fred are a decent space imo (some with L shaped bed configuration which some people are less fond of)
The cabin looked very warm and homely and I liked the decor. I had to laugh at the jacuzzi bath. Though you were going to be drowned with the amount of bubbles😂.Enjoy the rest of your time at Centre Parcs ❤
@@TravelBlogJamie I actually love a bathtub, but I'm not sure I'd be a comfortable fit at 6 foot 2 and not the smallest person in the world. Not having one at home I always take advantage when I see one on hotels etc.
Hi Jamie what a lovely cabin I absolutely love the bath, its a good sized cabin too fantastic balcony, it's nice to know to get an idea as I'm thinking of sailing on her in April fantastic video as always 💕
I had a balcony cabin on her sister ship when it was the Rotterdam which I liked a lot. It looks as if Fred has kept the traditional face of these two ships which make them more “homely” than the modern behemoths. I hope you are doing a video on your embarkation process as I would like to see the changes at Liverpool’s terminal since I sailed from there with FO back in 2015 when it was a ramshackle affair to say the least.
I remember on the FO Balmoral several years ago, we had a beautiful cabin with a lovely balcony, however, there were two single beds at right angles which were fixed to the floor. They weren’t very large either! Spent 12 nights feeling very uncomfortable and far apart. I simply did not think to check on the beds as having been on American ships up till then I assumed we would have a lovely big bed!
Afternoon Jamie, we are enjoying the vlogs as it is giving us a good insight into these ships. Do you know the difference between the balcony suite and the junior balcony suite as it is hard to tell front the FO website. Thanks in advance and we look forward to the rest of the series.
I believe the junior is just ‘shorter’ in length - it may not have the bath tub (I’m actually staying in a junior in July so I’ll have to better idea then)
We quite like the look of the cabin, except that carpet is a bit busy for us, along with the dark wood, not quite to our taste. Each to they're own though😉
@TravelBlogJamie I know our in laws went on and the cabin either side were chain smokers and it put them right off and never went on Fred Olsen again 😁
I always wondered what FO were like 👍 I approve of your Eden aftershave too, I like 255 😊
Thanks 👍
Looks fab Jamie! Keeping my eyes open for a short F.O cruise as a taster
Oh I hope you find something!

You are always welcome 🙏
Great review and it’s a nice cabin.
❤️❤️❤️
I am used to your craziness now😂
Thank goodness!

I’d be very happy living in this one lol 😂
Great review and great looking cabin Jamie👌🏻

Those bubbles went everywhere 😂
Thanks, we will look forward to July.
Enjoy ☺️
That cabin does look cozy and comfortable. It has made me even more excited for the group cruise. I may struggle with the bath, though.
They don’t all have bath tubs! You’d be able to book same cabin with just a shower

Love this. Bath looked amazing 😅
It was!

I always include embarkation in my vlogs but I think it will really surprise people 😂

Yes, for sure, always good to check cabin layout before booking
Non sure about the mahoosive mirror over the bed but may be useful😊

Hi Jamie we are going on Borealis in April. Never been on Fred Olsen how formal are the evenings? great review as always thank you.
Very few formalities - you’ll be able to see what I / others wear in the vlog on Wednesday too
@ thank you Jamie all the best

I have to say I’ve never been very phased by carpets on any ship 😂
Just wait until you see the carpets at the Colours & Tastes restaurant!
@ they make perfect sense there
Do they still allow smoking on the balcony ?
Apparently so. Never saw anyone on their balconies let alone smoking on them though.
@TravelBlogJamie I know our in laws went on and the cabin either side were chain smokers and it put them right off and never went on Fred Olsen again 😁
@ understandable. I’ve honestly never experienced this on Fred even though it’s allowed. I do think it should be banned, though
Do they make cabins like this any more?
❤❤❤
🥂🥂🥂
Oh. I have to wait.
Correct ✅
