    So the algae is an unlimited food source for the shrimp while they keep breeding to give you an unlimited fish food source? That’s neat

      @mooosestang 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@Tooadie Of course you would need to add new salt if you remove water, but i'm willing to bet if you just make a line at the water level and replace what evaporates naturally then you won't ever have to add salt. They maybe enough water change for the shrimp, not sure.

      @wannabe_D7000 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Tooadie water change every 6 months, no air stone needed but for the algae you might but dont need an air stone, like the other guy said .. if it evaporates the salt remains in the water and adding new water to it is like 1-10% water change every couple of weeks. Happy breeding mate its fun to watch them movie

    I have like a residue of brine at the bottom & at the edges of my tank wall on top, is it normal or i do something wrong?
    The difference with yours is
    1.I feed them a pinch spirulina powder which i feed once every two days
    2. My air bubble is at the middle of the tank
    3. Is sunlight necessary for the shrimp?
    A hint would be much appreciated whether i did it correctly or not

    Can we use aquarium lights bro ???

    • @6maquariumfish
      @6maquariumfish  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The purpose of exposure to sunlight is to produce algae for their food.
      If your light is strong enough to produce algae, then that would be nice.

    Do you add any heat to the water ? I am in the uk, not much sun & not that warm

    • @smj5785
      @smj5785 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Light is very important anyway. For the algae growth mostly.
      Naturally they are cultured in open areas, under direct sunlight, so i guess heat is also necessary from 25-30°c
