Why is it down on power and torque compared to the V6 found for years in the GS? Doesn’t look as good as the GS either.

Do you think you'll do comparisons in the future? I was so in love with the new Continental until this ES came out. Now, I don't know which I would choose.
@@RR-ll2ns The new Lincoln hasn't been out long enough to rate it's reliability or resale value. The comparison would rate each car's content for the money.

Sad they stopped the GS though! I literally just ordered an IS300h on Saturday, due for delivery in January 2019.
they still have the GS for 2019 as far as I know. And I think they will continue the GS F beyond 2020
Aww my dealer only had the Ct200h, IS300h, NX300h, Rx450h and the LS600h (& the LC ) GS is a nicer size too! Don't know why they said it has been replaced by the ES ??

Yup - absolutely worth the upgrade. Not even a comparison with the base 10 speaker system (which isn’t bad but...)

Def want to drive this car. This one being the F sport, do you think it is sporty enough to replace the GS?
Na... My only thing with this car is when you hit the gas with all that power being sent to the front wheels there's a little bit of torque steer. However, with the GS being AWD I think a lot of people would prefer that for a better acceleration. However, for the price point this one was pretty awesome!
It’s highly unlikely Lexus is substituting ES for GS, the $30,000 price gap between entry LS is too big, and price gap between IS is too small(only $400 when maxed out) and there is shorter version of GA-L called GA-N, currently only used in Toyota Crown, which strangely decided to go testing in Nürburgring. Most of all, Lexus never officially announced GS’s demise. Next gen GS, or RWD replacement is highly likely to be under development.
HELL NO!!!!!!!! I have a GS 350 Fsport and drove this at the dealer, this will not move you like a GS at all. I can't believe they would think someone with a GS would consider this.

I test drove one today. Missing sunglass holder near the rearview mirror, whereas my 2014 Toyota Highlander has it.

Don’t get fooled. My 2019 ES350 F-Sport has Levinson but only has 6 speakers and radio sounds terrible. Gets decent sound from Blue Tube and Sirius Radio. Otherwise it’s a lion in 🐑 skin. Although FWD, it feels more like a rear drive, solid and smooth. I am confident I will blow away a Panarama or any BMW from 0-131 mph. It’s a well engineered car and I plan to keep it past 300,000.
