When I would enter the workshop, this guitar would be the first thing I would see, hanging next to his bench. He was so so nice, kind and gentle and everything he would do, he would the best and most enchanting way possible
just discovered Dave following the program last night on channel five greatest guitar riffs. will buy all his records now, wish I haD DISCOVERD HIM EARLIER, . RIP
Dave was a wonderfull musician, very humble. I met him in the famous bar "le Travers" in the years 70/80. He was also a fantastic luthier ! He build so many instruments... RIP Dave
Everything he does is awesome and amazing. I first heard about him in a book about the Woodstock scene in the 70s. I think the book was called Small Town Talk.
I've got it on cassette and so pleased to find it here.. Thank you! I saw him in 1980 at a gig in Penzance and then met him on train back to Bristol!! I was smitten!!! ☺️ Rip dear Dave.
