Music from this era was always amazing. Beautiful moving drones. British guitar players were always my favorite. I sought out obscure UK albums.

It's really about time for someone, with the know-how, to put on TH-cam his first album......"Oh Really" (1968) for us old Bluesers and Heads - one of the best albums of the sixties

jaeztheone Any other recommendations for modern heads who dig the oldies? I've been listening to a lot of Lost Gonzo, Youngbloods, New Riders of Purple Sage, Gram Parsons and some more obvious stuff like Jefferson Airplane.

Me too. I've still got my copy of 'Places I Know' with with the original photo poster with the lyrics on the back (I just checked lol). Back in the day I had 'The Inverted World' with him and Ian Anderson, that disappeared long time ago. A number of years ago I managed to get a limited re release copy of 'OUT OF THE SHADES' an e,p. he recorded privately with Derek Hall in '65 (I think). Originally just a handful were pressed.
Wonder where things would have gone if Cooper had taken up Jagger and Richards' offer to join a band they had in mind ?

The poster has slightly messed up the track listing at the end. Track 11 at 34.30 is neither Looking Back, nor Your Lovely Ways, also listed at 34.30. It's Watching You Fall, Parts 1 & 2. Then you get Your Lovely Ways, Parts 1 & 2, and then finally, when that's finished, at 49.12 you get the last track of the original album, Looking Back. Actually, if you have to rearrange the tracks, that's the way to do it, leaving the best till last, as it were, and bringing this great album to its natural conclusion even with the bonus tracks. Nearly fifty years after I first heard it, and Harry Miller's ecstatic double bass still sends shivers down my spine.

Well, except the Ochs' guitar was tuned properly.

Interesting but Mike's voice is about as strong as that of Keith Richards. Good to have on board as a harmony singer perhaps.

He asked Frank Sinatra to sing on the LP, but he declined.
