German Christians here, my husband and I waited for marriage as well and it was SUCH a good decision! We thank the Lord for giving us the strength to save ourselves up for on another. He really helped us through and now He is helping us in our marriage daily. Been married for 5 1/2 years now and were given 2 adorable children to raise! :) The Lord is merciful!

Wow. I’m 15 and I’ve met the most wonderful girl that has faith in god like me. We’ve been dating for a few weeks and we’ve held hands and kissed and it’s always a walking journey with her. These three weeks have felt like a long long time and I can’t even imagine a month or three months but we’re always trying new things and always showing different ways that we love each other. We want to marry someday and if I can imagine one thing it’s me and her holding hands and hugging no matter how long we’ve been together. I’m a Christian teen , and I can just say that I’ve heard peers talk about “being in love” and doing things they probably shouldn’t with their boyfriend bc it’s the norm in todays culture, but I can tell you none of them bear the joy that completely radiates of of these two as you hear them talk about their experiences with truly putting life into Gods Hands and experience his gifts the way they were intended to be. This whole video was beautiful as despite any judgement i may receive from wanting to follow by this example this really motivates me to be patient and trust Gods timing because I’m able to see just how beautifully God works in your life when you give him full control. I’m crying because I’ve experienced a lot of relationships and only one as a Christian and I was torn and it taught me not everyone who says they’re a Christian is one and taught me a lot more and it definitely was forced love and lies…but now I have someone Godly and ofc is only human and learning but he’s new to things he’s had only one relationship for years on a off but yeah and i ofc have more problems emotionally sometimes I feel numb like I can’t love anyone and idk how to speak about it and I don’t want to but I know God can hear me and knows and understands I just wanna be happy with him and overcome everything together by the power of Jesus I wanna be a good wife and mother despite my past and you guys are inspiration despite past things can still happen you can still be loved and love someone and etc and yeah…very new to me sometimes I assume my boyfriend isn’t as godly as I think because idk my ex was a lot…but he blinded me on my walk with God so much we were doing Old Testament laws…you can imagine everything else he manipulated me with but my love now is good I now am the one that needs to learn we both do but I’m now in a good healthy relationship that has Jesus and our father God and it’s scary because I don’t wanna ruin it because I let myself be “ruined”…lol anyways ignore my grammar God bless and thank you for sharing and reminding not everything is perfect but good same as being a follower of Christ not all days are good but we should try our best to love and do good and have faith and trust and having a man of God with patience and understanding and trust from a man is crazy someone who actually cares…idk it’s new and I like it I just am afraid that I will ruin it because I feel I can’t love properly (my ex has said that) and what not but Jesus restores and makes new and he understands and forgives and I can do this with my partner and we will grow and one day be one flesh and continue to grow he’s mine and I am his and I won’t give up I know Jesus can do anything in his will with enough faith even as small as a mustard seed I will have a lot to come I can’t process it’s like alienated everything seems to good and I grew up bad and didn’t have it all that great it’s really weird I can’t even be emotional but rn crying a little at this makes me feel good because I am feeling something…my partner will teach me while Jesus teaches him Jesus and him will open up me and guide me and I will see a spark I never seen I just know it even if I’m typing it as if it’s a lie I know that’s the devil and the flesh and I should ignore it anyways I sent this to him we been together since October 29 so after this December it’ll be a month feels it’s been longer lol haha and many more to come this is so new and just starting and I need to realize that and I am only human and I fear my relationship with God from my ex but I know my partner doesn’t pull me around like my ex and etc but I fear we won’t do enough but I know everything will be okay I’m just an emotional being lol❤
Something I learned is that until I am fully satisfied in Jesus alone, and not in Jesus AND anything or anyone else, I will never be whole. It’s great that you want a godly husband, but first, you have to want Jesus more than anything else. Ask yourself if Jesus is enough. If you never have a husband, is Jesus enough? Until the answer is yes, until you love Jesus more than what He can give you, you will struggle to find peace and struggle to be rooted in your identity that Christ has given you. I don’t know where you are in your walk, but I recommend you make your goal to be to know Jesus, not just about Him, but to deeply know Him. Have deep conversations with Him, sit with Him and read the word daily, every single day. And don’t rely on your feelings and fleeting thoughts, they change and lie, but rely on the truth of the word of God which is everlasting, never changes, truth, power, and love. A husband, yes even a godly one, cannot make you whole.. only jesus can. Jesus loves you so unimaginably much, and He doesn’t just love you, He enjoys knowing you and your unique personality. He is so kind and humble and good to us. He suffered and died on the cross to take the punishment for your sins upon Himself so that you don’t have to, and He would have done it if you were the only person to ever accept His gift of salvation, He loves you that much! So seek Him and you will always find. And don’t rely on emotions but on the truth of the word of God, maybe write down some promises and memorize them to battle Satans lies. One thing I think I’ll struggle with when I get married is the sheet issue. If I wake up and my wife takes all the sheets and leaves nothing for me I’m gonna have to keep a spare blanket under my side of the bed and use it for when I need a sheet. I do sweat in the middle of the night, so I could thank them for it, but other nights it’s like an icebox and the thermostat is at 3 degrees and I need a blanket. I just won’t fight over a blanket. It’s useless. I mean yeah it’s annoying but happy wife happy life you know.

I’m crying because I’ve experienced a lot of relationships and only one as a Christian and I was torn and it taught me not everyone who says they’re a Christian is one and taught me a lot more and it definitely was forced love and lies…but now I have someone Godly and ofc is only human and learning but he’s new to things he’s had only one relationship for years on a off but yeah and i ofc have more problems emotionally sometimes I feel numb like I can’t love anyone and idk how to speak about it and I don’t want to but I know God can hear me and knows and understands I just wanna be happy with him and overcome everything together by the power of Jesus I wanna be a good wife and mother despite my past and you guys are inspiration despite past things can still happen you can still be loved and love someone and etc and yeah…very new to me sometimes I assume my boyfriend isn’t as godly as I think because idk my ex was a lot…but he blinded me on my walk with God so much we were doing Old Testament laws…you can imagine everything else he manipulated me with but my love now is good I now am the one that needs to learn we both do but I’m now in a good healthy relationship that has Jesus and our father God and it’s scary because I don’t wanna ruin it because I let myself be “ruined”…lol anyways ignore my grammar God bless and thank you for sharing and reminding not everything is perfect but good same as being a follower of Christ not all days are good but we should try our best to love and do good and have faith and trust and having a man of God with patience and understanding and trust from a man is crazy someone who actually cares…idk it’s new and I like it I just am afraid that I will ruin it because I feel I can’t love properly (my ex has said that) and what not but Jesus restores and makes new and he understands and forgives and I can do this with my partner and we will grow and one day be one flesh and continue to grow he’s mine and I am his and I won’t give up I know Jesus can do anything in his will with enough faith even as small as a mustard seed I will have a lot to come I can’t process it’s like alienated everything seems to good and I grew up bad and didn’t have it all that great it’s really weird I can’t even be emotional but rn crying a little at this makes me feel good because I am feeling something…my partner will teach me while Jesus teaches him Jesus and him will open up me and guide me and I will see a spark I never seen I just know it even if I’m typing it as if it’s a lie I know that’s the devil and the flesh and I should ignore it anyways I sent this to him we been together since October 29 so after this December it’ll be a month feels it’s been longer lol haha and many more to come this is so new and just starting and I need to realize that and I am only human and I fear my relationship with God from my ex but I know my partner doesn’t pull me around like my ex and etc but I fear we won’t do enough but I know everything will be okay I’m just an emotional being lol❤

Something I learned is that until I am fully satisfied in Jesus alone, and not in Jesus AND anything or anyone else, I will never be whole. It’s great that you want a godly husband, but first, you have to want Jesus more than anything else. Ask yourself if Jesus is enough. If you never have a husband, is Jesus enough? Until the answer is yes, until you love Jesus more than what He can give you, you will struggle to find peace and struggle to be rooted in your identity that Christ has given you. I don’t know where you are in your walk, but I recommend you make your goal to be to know Jesus, not just about Him, but to deeply know Him. Have deep conversations with Him, sit with Him and read the word daily, every single day. And don’t rely on your feelings and fleeting thoughts, they change and lie, but rely on the truth of the word of God which is everlasting, never changes, truth, power, and love. A husband, yes even a godly one, cannot make you whole.. only jesus can. Jesus loves you so unimaginably much, and He doesn’t just love you, He enjoys knowing you and your unique personality. He is so kind and humble and good to us. He suffered and died on the cross to take the punishment for your sins upon Himself so that you don’t have to, and He would have done it if you were the only person to ever accept His gift of salvation, He loves you that much! So seek Him and you will always find. And don’t rely on emotions but on the truth of the word of God, maybe write down some promises and memorize them to battle Satans lies. One thing I think I’ll struggle with when I get married is the sheet issue. If I wake up and my wife takes all the sheets and leaves nothing for me I’m gonna have to keep a spare blanket under my side of the bed and use it for when I need a sheet. I do sweat in the middle of the night, so I could thank them for it, but other nights it’s like an icebox and the thermostat is at 3 degrees and I need a blanket. I just won’t fight over a blanket. It’s useless. I mean yeah it’s annoying but happy wife happy life you know.
