To be fair, boxing can be polished and refined for ages too. It might not be elegant but you have to train well in order to disable the opponent without causing death. Most modern shows are more akin to coreographed dances than actual fights in order to max the audience excitement and minimizing injuries.

I love how Hoyo knows what to do for each character. For Neuvi they did an elegant and artistic trailer, one befit for a dragon, a figure of justice and a lonely man. For Wris they opted for a mechanical figh, focusing on robot elements and also, brining out that naughty vibe he emits despite being a good guy...
That's what makes Hoyo unique... they know their characters and they adapt to the character style, instead of their company aesthetic...

Even though he’s not a dog, I wanna put him in the ‘good boy’ category. He plays fair, thanks his opponents for the fights, and makes sure people understand what they’ve done wrong. That sounds like a good boy to me.
His crest is technically a wold which is a canine, while he himself is not dog.. He is wolf-like in personality 😂

I love how wrio loves a friendly duel competition. The way he extends his hand, shakes hands, and fist bumps shows that he's a really good sport. And hoyoverse made an excellent trailer! The details and editing were on spot and the music is just fire🔥🔥

Gosh Wriothesley is such a cool character. I like how they made him seem intimidating, cold and stern but in reality he’s pretty down too earth and treats his authority well. This was one hell of a trailer too, wishing luck to all the wriothesley wanters! :))

This vibe was not at ALL what I was expecting and I am thoroughly impressed and excited. They just keep getting better and better, it's actually crazy.
And the fact that it's a normal boxing tournament with actual sportsmanship and no tricks or attempts to sabotage or kill anyone makes this surprisingly lighthearted despite Wriothesley's job (which I guess is in line with the surprisingly chill vibe of the Fortress of Meropide's inhabitants in general)
I liked the angle at the end where there was a deeper reason he entered to investigate the tampered mech, as that gave some depth to his motivs ahnd goud contrast with his clear enjoyment of a good brawl. 🤘
Dude he’s so cool and is a good sport. Also I can’t get over how he’s so sassy I love him. His theme music goes hard as well, such an awesome beat. I hope I and everyone win our 50/50s for him :)

No one else going to mention the addition of a police siren before the bass drop at 1:50. I thought that was a cool and funny detail since Wriothesley basically a cop.
The music, the transitions, the animations, and the voice acting was soooooo good. I absolutely loved it.

Anyone else think the Pankration Ring should be a weekly activity? Think about it! It can be like a mini-Abyss with a rotating line-up for some prizes. Just saying... in any other action RPG, this would be the case for sure. I think it would be fun. Even if not weekly, maybe every patch give it an update like they do with TCG.

Wriothesley isn't only the first cry I catalyst, he's the second tall male cryo user, and it's crazy comparing the demo quality between him and Kaeya
Kaeya being an early character would of had a far lower budget on his showcase than they have now.

I love love love the comradery and sportsmanship shown from Wriothesely. Everyone in there respects him from different backgrounds. You know i was sort of expecting there to be some sort of animosity from at least one opponent, but their attitude towards him and his to them really shows why quite a lot of the jailees end up not wanting to leave after serving their sentence.

The editor who decided to add those transitions and seamless cuts, the use of music and the beat at 00:27 when Wriothe-Slay name showed up, the pacing of the video was perfect. You have a great sense of timing and you NEED A RAISE !

I really like the way they presented Wriothesley here, he is a cryo character with cryo built, but his color, his scheme is mostly red! he really is something and from my opinion, this is actually a very good design even though his theme is all red like was shown on the video above, they combined him with his chilly eyes and his cold stern face, not to mention we get to see a fun, mobile character within him, unlike any other character with cryo visions! good job Hoyo for making him very interesting i'm so pulling for him
