1: it's a bull 2: he is a member of the Arataki gang 3: he is probably something created from his vision, aka something one's brain would do if they are too lonely, and Itto was kinda lonely before creating the gang 4: seeing Ushi's damage, I would not be surprised if he is made out of crumbs of Zhongli's shield, because boy is that damage big as hell 5: Ushi has unbeatable twerking skills
I don't see Sara beating him in pure raw strength. onis have always been physically stronger than tengus. not just that, Sara's pretty much in the military so she'd be more skilled in fighting than Itto. the whole itto vs Sara fight was a str vs dex fight.

I didn't care about Itto at first but my god, his personality is everything! We've had a lot of 'elegant' characters in the game but he gives me 'guy trying to act big and cool' vibes, it's kinda refreshing! I love his personality and voice!
His VA is nailing it as well. He sounds like he's having so much fun. I love when VAs sound more relaxed and improvised while still being amazing. It makes the character feel so real yet laid back.

@@fire_g the thing is, not many people in inazuma were depressed when theirs visions were taken, ayaka chose the 3 who were. There are alot of 'used to have a vision' npcs who said they felt more free and better after their vision was taken. So yeah, the traveler wasn't told everything
@@fire_g My thoughts on it is that some people live for that end goal, to achieve something, those are the people who become crippled without their vision. Others are shackled by that end goal, they want to live in the moment, so once those people lost their visions they were happy. Then someone like Itto already lives in that day-to-day state of mind, so he wouldn't be crippled without his vision, but he'd still want it to continue being the big bad oni.
Itto was my first 5 star character that I got and it was by accident, I remember I cried because I didn't want him but now I regret it, cause after few events I had the chance to know him better and now I love him and he is in my team currently, I'm so sorry that I misjudged you baby ❤️

THIS TRAILER WAS EVERYTHING; the music, all the fully animated scenes, itto's voicelines, the voice acting! this has to be one of my favorite demos yet, his personality is a breath of fresh air. may all itto wanters be itto havers!
Itto is one of the most entertaining characters in the game just because of his personality. The only character that made me want to get them because of their personality and not their gameplay was Hu Tao. He really reminds me of her but with a more exaggerated attitude but all the playfulness!

honestly itto has got to be the most expressive genshin character and absolutely all of that credit goes to max mittelman for his voice acting i love him so much
I mean, Max did an amazing job, sure, but *ALL* of the credit? What about the people who chose him, the director who helped him hit that sweet spot, the designers who came up with the character's personality, the animators who did his movements, etc? Sure Max did great, but his voice in a vacuum isn't as great as the whole package.

what's fascinating about this demo trailer is that despite his vision getting taken, he hasn't lost his passion/drive compared to all the other vision holders whose vision was taken.
Except we don't know how long that was. He didn't lose his passion/drive *YET*. Everyone else that had their Visions confiscated started loosing themselves, it was going to happen to Itto sooner or later.

Reminds me of Claude from Fire Emblem Three Houses. It takes a really good VA to nail the relaxed improvisational voice while still making the character believable and endearing.
Genshin Impact finally got a "Featuring Dante from the Devil May Series" seal. This guy has the exact same personality of Dante. Same catchphrases. Same hair color. Same big sword!
Beidou was the original Genshin Dante. It's no secret that they borrowed a lot from DMC either way. I mean, look at Keqing and Ayaka (keep in mind Ayaka was designed before version 1.0, and had the same model and working animations very similar to her final release). Even some enemies have some pretty DMC moves (like electro cicin mages using Dante's Air Assault from DMC1).
IMO,his personality is THE BEST one so far. It's just a breath of fresh air due to how natural he feels. He feels more like an actual person rather than a character,which I really like

From what we’ve seen it’s more likely that if you get your vision forcibly taken away, only then are you negatively impacted. Itto and another npc in komore teahouse handed them over willingly to kujou sara and there’s also one npc in liyue who decided not to use his vision but all three of them seem to be fine

There's been too much "elegance" and "style" for the Geo element im happy they finally made a character with a pure strength build (Also this has to be some of the coolest music from a trailer yet) (And also yes he has style and alot of it i never said he didn't)

My favorite part of the music in this is how the main theme/melody used for almost every character is incorporated in here. You can hear it ever so slightly somewhere around 1:23. Yu-Peng Chen is amazing, I swear…
His character and personality is just smthn we needed with all this inazuma seriousness. Its so nice to see him have fun with yoimiya and the others. Really good move to lift and brighten the players up from the seemingly dark inazuma.

@@fire_g the thing is, not many people in inazuma were depressed when theirs visions were taken, ayaka chose the 3 who were. There are alot of 'used to have a vision' npcs who said they felt more free and better after their vision was taken.

@@fire_g My thoughts on it is that some people live for that end goal, to achieve something, those are the people who become crippled without their vision. Others are shackled by that end goal, they want to live in the moment, so once those people lost their visions they were happy. Then someone like Itto already lives in that day-to-day state of mind, so he wouldn't be crippled without his vision, but he'd still want it to continue being the big bad oni.

Itto is one of the most entertaining characters in the game just because of his personality. The only character that made me want to get them because of their personality and not their gameplay was Hu Tao. He really reminds me of her but with a more exaggerated attitude but all the playfulness!

Also, look at the very beginning of the trailer. The geo vision is not on his neck since he is trying to get it back after posing it.
what's fascinating about this demo trailer is that despite his vision getting taken, he hasn't lost his passion/drive compared to all the other vision holders whose vision was taken.
I mean, he is one and oni.
Except we don't know how long that was. He didn't lose his passion/drive *YET*. Everyone else that had their Visions confiscated started loosing themselves, it was going to happen to Itto sooner or later.
Just show how resilient he is. Wich is confirmed by Shinobu in the recent story quest.

B. His damage scaling and so on seems to be lower, but also have less things to buff it.

Genshin really has a lot of stuff similar to dmc ngl, not just with the characters but also with the moves of some of them.
Beidou was the original Genshin Dante. It's no secret that they borrowed a lot from DMC either way. I mean, look at Keqing and Ayaka (keep in mind Ayaka was designed before version 1.0, and had the same model and working animations very similar to her final release). Even some enemies have some pretty DMC moves (like electro cicin mages using Dante's Air Assault from DMC1).
Even the same fashion sense as DMC 3 Dante.
Itto has to be one of the best characters they’ve made in awhile when it comes to design and personality.
IMO,his personality is THE BEST one so far.
It's just a breath of fresh air due to how natural he feels.

From what we’ve seen it’s more likely that if you get your vision forcibly taken away, only then are you negatively impacted. Itto and another npc in komore teahouse handed them over willingly to kujou sara and there’s also one npc in liyue who decided not to use his vision but all three of them seem to be fine

My favorite part of the music in this is how the main theme/melody used for almost every character is incorporated in here. You can hear it ever so slightly somewhere around 1:23. Yu-Peng Chen is amazing, I swear…
His character and personality is just smthn we needed with all this inazuma seriousness. Its so nice to see him have fun with yoimiya and the others. Really good move to lift and brighten the players up from the seemingly dark inazuma.
