I first found Naomi when her henna freckles went horribly wrong and she has been such a comfort creator since then. watching her videos was such an anxiety reducing thing that I found when I was struggling at school. my family went through a lot of changes including major surgeries this past fall and whenever I was feeling overwhelmed with my situation, I would sit down at night and watch her 7 days of food videos on repeat. I can tell that she is a creator that genuinely cares about her subscribers and views them as individuals. her and her channel are and will always and forever be my comfort space ♡ ♡ madelynggrant

I'm always scared I'll pick the wrong shade of foundation or concealer so I just get the lightest shade bc my contour and bronzer will fix it lol
Try the 3 that you think is closest to your skin, like side by side, then pick your best match. It's the one that stands out the least on your skin. I used to think mine would always be the palest colour in terms of foundation but it's not, my skin is deceptively dark, more of a medium shade rather than the lightest. I recommend you try Revolution foundation because the shade range is huge, it's cheap and it is honestly better than some really pricey brands

I like how she starts off saying she didn't think she'd be doing these makeup videos, meanwhile she presents herself in every single video with the most legendary makeup designs on her face. Just so you know, Smashbox picked up that Champagne Pop Becca highlighter when the brand went away (I think it is in the same/very similar packaging) so it is still around.. we have it on Ulta here in the US, I am not entirely sure where else it is available✨✨💜
As a graphic designer, thank you for the attention on packaging, logos and the web page design. It’s so satisfying to hear these words from someone who doesn’t work in graphic design. I love that there’s someone out there who has eye for this kind of stuff, every critique you said was 100% accurate. I love love love. Make up packaging is my favorite application of this job, I love this.

Actually, Linda Hallberg did have a scandal here in Sweden a couple of years ago regarding the company's employees. People were not paid enough, or not paid at all, and worked overtime without compensation. People also did not have a collective agreement. There were also some allegations of racism within the company, including that of people's payroll. Can't remember how they resolved the issue, but they did gain quite a lot of shit from this. Anyway, this is just a short summary, there's more to it if one wants to dig in.

It’s great to watch reviews from people who do makeup in a “non-traditional” way. Also I didn’t realize that most cosmetics companies don’t have international shipping
I think its because there is a high chance of them getting lost or broken during shipping and the brands don't want to deal with that because its a loss of profit on their side if things don't go well during shipping.
I personally love that she tried everything without letting the backlash or cancelling of the owner bias her opinions of the products
