As a fellow 30 year old- Christian also dating a Korean Christian whose father is a missionary (with the intent to marry after dating 1 year), her story resonated with me. I am personally happy to hear that they chose to be responsible and do pre-marital counseling given the really short courting period. I understand but do caution and hope they stick to “dating” and getting to know one another, as people bring a lot of trauma/baggage and it takes time to understand who you are in a relationship and what you are setting yourself up for when seeking a partner. Marriage is a serious life commitment and should not be taken lightly or “glorified” especially during the ‘honeymoon’ phase of a relationship. Remember to always keep God at the center and may He bless your marriage!

I agree wholeheartedly, I got proposed to and married within 2 months. We had to get to know each other within the marriage which was difficult and draining. It 6 years later, still here by the grace of God. But not the same. 2 months is not enough time to learn his true nature and intentions. Mens true nature comes out the moment you say yes. Really ask yourself if you can trust this man with your entire life, spiritual, mental, physical, financial...As in you can close your eyes and let him live or make decisions for you until death do you part. As christian once we women say yes. Your vowels hold you are giving up the most. So on top of premarital counseling study the wedding vows as well an consider a really long engagement. I know my opinion doesn't matter, but i know i would've loved to see a note to make me think like this prior to saying yes & marrying within 2 months.
Yes, but also keep in mind that wether a Christian or not people can make some changes in life later on in life (not that marriage when that happens should end), changes can happen and you both grow within marriage. It's a serious and enjoyable serious relationship sacred union of two people one man and one woman where there can and usually will be changes like growth and ect. You live life together while having Christ as your foundation and pray together and whenever separately and read and study God's word together and also whenever separately and follow Christ on a daily dying to your flesh and living how Christ wants you to live. More to say, but hopefully many get the idea.
Dry the flowers out from the proposal and then put them in a vase later as dried flower arrangement. That way you can save them forever. Thats what i did with my wedding bouqet and i treasure it 😊. Congratulations!
I think you can also try to look for resin preserved dry flowers. Air can damage flowers but in resin they should last longer. You can have even a necklace made from it. 🌹

I’m so proud of you. Many don’t talk about this but when a man and woman know what they want this is the result. I’m 47, black and educated and met my husband when I was 18 years old. First year in college and he proposed to me 4 months after dating and married 9 months later right before my sophomore year in college. We’re celebrating our 29th anniversary this year and still love being with one another. It’s all about priorities and learning how to adjust and grow as time go. We all change but it’s up to you to change with it.

It is different as you are both a bit older, financially stable, life is on track, communicating etc. I knew my husband was the one the first time I saw him, he said he knew as well and that first time literally was us passing on the stairs. I know you thing what I am about to say is being judging, or raining on your happiness but honestly what I am about to say is more of wisdom. Please wait a year before you go threw with your marriage. You really don't know him or weather or not you are truly compatible. Love in the beginning is wonderful and full of warmth and happiness but after 2 years that is when the true test of compatibly shows.

I personally think it's way too soon to get enganged. But I don't try to be mean. I just think that it can always feel like you have met the right person that earily in the relationship. I have been in love with 3 different guys in my life (I'm 33 now) and it has felt that way in the beginning every time. It can fade pretty quick. But it's absolutely your life and I wish you the best :) If it doesn't work out, it can still be a good ride and a memory for life. So everyone to each taste. I am sure she's aware of the dangers, I think in one video she mentioned that she dated a narcissist for 3 years. So we can trust her instincts. While I am really happy for you, I hope you also do remember that marriage is also about loving and choosing each other when you both are at your worst. Marriage is never going to be sunshine and rainbow all the time - it’s about how you get through serious hardships together and still choose one another above all else. And there is no such thing as ideal types - everyone has flaws.

Tbh our society has messed up the way people look at marriage. People used to get married right away because love was real. Now that love seems to be fake people just say “let’s live together but never get married.” The beauty about marriage is that you can grow together during the marriage and if you’re in love with that person marrying quickly shouldn’t be judged or looked down upon. It’s each persons preference but it’s beautiful that they fell in love quickly.
