When El Cortez opened in 1941 as the first luxury casino in Las Vegas some people thought it was too far from the action on Fremont Street that people wouldn't stay there. Now El Cortez is in the middle of the action of the Fremont East District. Management has said that about half of the casino customers are locals and half are tourists, a rare casino to have a 50/50 mix.
Its so much fun to watch you guys, you sooooo epitomize what Vegas is about, wish me and my wife could hit Vegas together again but the kids aren't there yet, maybe another 5 years, until then its solo trips for us.

Hi Scott! As fas as we know the D is only Southwest and Spirit but you can go to El Cortez with any airline, we will be taking ours from Swoop there in July. So glad to hear you enjoy the vlogs!! Thank you!!
